Reasons to Watch Bayformers :D

So, out of the anti Bayformers sentiment that seems to be floating around, I'm curious to see how many people are pro-TF and ROTF and what reasons they have to sit, watch and enjoy them. This isn't meant to spiral out into a flame war so unless you are contributing positively please refrain from commenting
Here are the top five that come to my mind:
1) JETPOWER PRIME!!! With the "Let's Roll" quote I still have goosebumps every time I see it
2) Great CGI
3) Excellent Soundtrack
4) Giant fighting robots!
5) They choose some gorgeous cars as alternate modes (I still love Barricade's Mustang mode)

^ Need I say more? And yes. That's me. In those shorts. They were hot for the early May heat in Dallas. I wasn't prepped for that kinda heat. -.-
But as my first point ... I really loved the cars.
2) I loved the soundtracks for both movies. They were awe-inspiring, inspiring in general, and overall masterpieces. I love soundtracks in general (Pirates, of course!), but these had something "new" to them that I hadn't heard in a long time.
3) I liked the fact that they cast someone who could be a believable teen as Sam. I mean, honestly, big cars show up in your backyard and start talking to you about bad guys coming to wipe their feet with your face? Instant freakout.
4) Plot holes that gave fanfiction authors some decent access into the movievers genre ... which was good for the first year. Maybe. I can't remember if the decent fics lasted past six months before smut and stuff took over. But it was fun to explore plot holes ... write a LOT of stuff ... and then find that Allspark!Sam became canon? XD fun.
5) TF1 is one of a few movies that I can put on and sleep through, just using it for background noise. Pride & Prejudice, Cars, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the CGI TMNT movie and Iron Man are others that are comfort movies.

i agree with every thing you say. That is the only reason i'll watch it, for the action and for the characters, ohh heck, i'll watch because its transformers for crying out loud. I grew up watching beast wars and TF's armada love them both. I'm a loyal TF fan at spark (heart).

I understand you don't want negative comments, so I want to ask why single this out. Do you mind a post reasoning why it sucks?

Separate post of course.

LV, this is a positive thread. You have your thread of why Bay and his interests suck and should die ... or something. I'm pretty sure that you can expand upon your prior thread on why TF2 was stupid/infantile/whatever. Silver started this thread as a counter to your thread.
Therefore, I ask you to kindly refrain from making out lists of "why it sucked" on this thread.
Have a nice day.

Sinead,
If you please reread my thread, I never once stated I was going to make a thread 'here'. I stated twice an option to make a thread about the TF movies specifically, since the other thread pertained to TMNT.
I am asking you kindly to please make sure you understand what I was saying before replying.

Lady Venom,
The
thread in question has evolved to cover the antithesis of this thread.
No need to kill one bird with two stones when you can kill three birds with half a stone...
Wait...
Or was that six birds with a whole stone? Hold on, why am I even killing birds in the first place? I like birds! Except magpies... and that damned Kookaburra that took residence in the roof that never ceases to mock me come sunrise.
Damn you Kookaburra! I shall have you for breakfast one of these days! Then we'll see who's laughing! Muahaha! Muahahahahahahahahaha!
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

- The Bayformers film did bring new fans and spread word of the transformer saga.
- Where else could you find giant balls of steel?
- Introduction of a peculiar, female Decepticon seductress.
- Old voice actors found work again.
- Potential future employment for painters so the Decepticons can look a bit more colorful.
- Good times for firework and explosive manufacturers!

Well, the primary reason for this thread's creation is that I noticed the other thread was deviating from the main topic, which was primarily that Michael Bay was going to be involved with TMNT, and was turning into a debate over whether the TF movies were good or not. This was an attempt to give the pro-Bayformers people a voice without violating the other thread or letting it turn into a flame war. After all, I would hate to see a thread that you are so passionate about become locked

Personally, I have also been tired of hearing so much negativity towards to movies but I need to say both of them have the fond memories of great experiences attached to them. Seeing the first movie at Botcon 2007 (my first Botcon) along with a large contingent of the BWint group, Botcon 2009 running around with Nurann and making a bunch of new friends and seeing ROTF at Imax a midnight before the rest of the world. As I have repeatedly said, I understand that the movies themselves are not perfect, but I love them for what they are and this thread has been created to represent that
So my other good reason to watch them:
-the great memories attached to them
