I have just happily placed my pre-order with JBHIFI for War for Cybertron on PS3. With it I'll be getting a shiny prequel comic book which is awesome. I have been impressed with the pricing as well $77.99 (inc. shipping) for Australia is fantastic for a new release game. On average out here, new games start at $89.99 and some reach up to $119.99 (God of War III I'm looking at you!). All the online footage looks really impressive (and I am desperately trying to avoid all the spoiler footage) and I cannot wait to take up my Autobot Leader mantle Anyone else excited?

Too bad I don't own a PS3...actually I say that, and I'm not sorry I don't But if this even comes out on PC it's mine! Trouble is, the last TF game a bought wouldn't install I was well miffed.

Good news Jag! Its got a multi platform release meaning PS3, PC, Xbox and Nintendo DS (not sure if there's a PSP version) and all of them (sans DS) are being sold at the same price. I was tempted to go the PC path, however being a 3rd person "blow things up and transform" kind of game, I figured its more geared towards a console environment. That being said, if the multiplayer is really good, I may get the PC version later on and use it for LAN party shenanigans

I'm going to trade in Red Dead Redemption for this game. I just beat it and the multiplayer doesn't look like it'll hold me over long, so it'll definitely save me a lot of money on War for Cybertron. We should probably add our PSN or gametags if we're buying this game. I'm sure there will be many interested in joining up for the co-op and multiplayer!

I'm contemplating renting this when it comes out for the 360. Since I can only pre-order (aka: afford) one game a year, it's Fallout: NV (with poker chips, books/artwork, cards and all sorts of awesome things >>)

But I'm highly curious about this game and if it'll be any good.

On the whole DLC "exclusive" side of things, I tend to be a bit carefree because I have seen this happen all too many times. "EXCLUSIVE DARTH VADER FOR SOUL CALIBER IV ON PS3 OR EXCLUSIVE YODA FOR XBOX!" Then a couple of months later, the models are released as general download content for everyone to use. Whereas now, I will get my prequel comic AND then I'll get all the DLC later on. Cake and eating too? Yessss...
