I nearly had a complete fanboy meltdown here at work when I checked out this trailer. I seriously cannot wait for this. It looks like an awesome blend of G1 classicverse and new age special effects

Yeah the game looks really great! This game looks true to the source material to me and also very serious as well. I hope it turns out as good as it looks.

"TRYPTICON" seems to be the only word I can type right now in relation to the game.

All I've heard is that it's going to be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and Nintendo DS sometime in 2010. That's all I've heard so far.

No PS2?

PS2 might be a bit old tech for a new generation game like this. As much as I loved my PS2 back in the days, I'd rather see this game on a modern console.

I looked on gamestop and it says that the game will come out on 6/22/2010

I figure it will probably be the same type of third person, run around and blow every thing up.

After watch the trailer..... a couple of thousand more times ..... I got to thinking about other possibilities. Because of the scale of Omega and Trypticon I was starting to get the impression that it could be an RTS, which would be pretty fun. Additionally, I got really excited about one thought..... MMO. Seriously, how fantastic would that be? Customise your own TF character within the War Within period of Cybertron. Fight alongside Optimus/Megatron and things like Omega and Trypticon could be bosses..... or bases... or both

Obviously, these ideas would have to be done well however if a Transformers MMO came out... well.... I may fall into the MMO mind-slave mentality and my social life will seriously suffer

I'm thinking over the shoulder shooter/action/adventure. So far we already know that you control the individual character and you're equipped with at least two weapons and two special abilities. Omega and Tryp could probably be boss battles similar to the Scarab fight from Halo 2 & 3, large scaled enemies from Metroid Prime, or maybe even downsized versions of the boss battles in Shadow of the Colossus.

If they ever come out with an MMO Transformers game, my head would probably explode lol (and once more after I buy it). Although, they'd better include a "Maximal" and "Predacon" class for us BW fans

I've heard it will be a third person shooter and that Omega and Trypticon will be boss battles. I've also heard that Omega and Trypticon will seem even larger when you fight them than what they look like in the trailer.

As for the PS2 version of the game, it looks unlikely but it didn't look like any other system was going to have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up and then it was announced that it would come out for the PS2 a few weeks after the Wii version.
