Siamese

Just a simple Siamese cat I wanted to draw. Siamese are my favorite house cat. They're so beautiful and intelligent.
I've had a seal point, who past away several years ago from kidney failure, but he was incredibly affectionate and loyal. And I recently put down my sixteen year old blue point this past July because she was suffering from some arthritis, too much weight loss (she was down to five pounds), constipation, and the vet felt an abnormal mass in her abdomin. She wasn't eating well and she looked uncomfortable during her last few weeks. Actually, she was six days from turning sixteen, but she was the perfect cat her entire life; social, friendly, never misbehaved, vocal, always on my lap, always slept with me, and I could read her like a book. Basically bomb proof growing up with four kids in the house. She is greatly missed. It was extremely hard to put her down in my arms; I had her since she was a kitten.
So I felt compelled to finally draw a Siamese. I highly recommend them to cat lovers and pet owners. My next Siamese will be a flame point, and I'm excited to get my kitten before Halloween this year.
