HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Ok, so 2008 is gone, goodbye, adieu etc. And 2009 is here! I started it with my boyfriend, which was nice ^_^ What did other people do?

Anyway, here's to a whole new year everyone at BWInt!

'Tisn't the new year here quite yet. In fact... we here in Michigan have over 5 hours to go still.

Say... do we have any Californians here? They've got over 8 hours left still.

It's not 2009...yet. But a happy new year to all!

I believe I shall be spending it up at our church,with some close friends of mine,(possibly,TFA Starscream will be with me)and then go home to finish it off.


I'm going to make a summary of exicting things that occured in the past few months...

In August,I found Beast Wars Season 3 for $20 at F.Y.E.

September marked a brand new school year for me,and my grades are the best they've ever been.

In October,I finaly got to complete a long-time dream of mine:Join everyone here at the Forum! I've been lurking around the site for about three years now,off and on,but never really got a chance to join.

I also made a Thundercracker costume,with wings,in less than two weeks for Halloween,and mangaed to scare several children with it.


Another fun thing I was able to do during this month,was paint a few TF knockoffs I have,so that I can customize real figures someday.


In December,I was finaly able to acticate my Deviantart account (Which hadn't been working properly).

Then,I recieved TFA Bumblebee,TFA Blitzwing,and TFU Sunstreaker (Woot!) for Christmas. I also got an MP3 player(That was most unexpected,as it never even made it onto my list),and found two videos in a thrift store,in Minot,with TF G1 episodes,and the series that came after the first movie (Uncertain if that is "G2" or not)

Happy New Year guys!I got at least 4 hours till Midnight.

It's almost 4pm on the 1st here, but hey, happy new year to y'all.

Sooo how did everyone spend their new year? I spent mine doodling stupid TF pics,when I should have been asleep. I was up past 2 in the morning!

Awesome, Razorclaw! I spent most of New Year's Eve working on a Transformer drawing for a friend (and it's taking me longer than I anticipated), so it would seem great minds think alike. I think I'll give it a break tomorrow and start working on a BW Silverbolt drawing. I haven't done a pencil drawing for a while now. MUST... DRAW! I went to bed at 12:15am, though. I watched 15 minutes worth of spectacular fireworks on TV that they were setting off down in "Kill-adelphia." Fireworks rock. XD So, are we gonna see those TF doodles you were drawing?

My mom also came down with a cold yesterday so I didn't want to leave her alone on the last day of the year to go out and... I don't, play video games at my brother's? Nope, I stayed home, drew, and took care of the pets.

Most likely,you will see those scribbles. I'm not quite done with the sheet yet though,so it may take a while. So far,it is home to:A G1 Starscream full body chibi,an exceptionly poor doodle of Dinobot asleep in a dog basket with his name on it ,with Rattrap standing over him,wearing a party hat,and holding cymbols,and a fullbody sketch of Decepticon Stormwarp (Me) TFA style. None of them are very good,but the chibi turned out ok,and I don't want to miss this oppertunity to show off my "body",so I'll probably post it on DA anyway.

As for me, for New Years I stayed up all night with almost all of my friends, watched Transformers (We had a vote to decide which one of four different movies we would watch, and Transformers was almost unanimous. ) , played Gargon (A really fun game that involves insane hard rock music, turning all the lights out, and running, screaming and a lot of sneaking around), did a guy's hair super-demented with goopy hair gel, and had a banana force-fed to me through a nylon stocking on my head by said guy. What a mess. And before you ask, yes, I did this all voluntarily, and no, I was not drunk or high in any way. Needless to say, I LOVE my youth group.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For my celebration of the incoming new year, it was quiet and delightful. Me and Mum spent it watching Project Runway, then the end of Maid in Manhattan and then some teenybopper romance about the president's daughter. It came across as a Disney movie, but I have no idea if that was indeed the case.

As for other celebratory measures, I did the customary last picture of the year/first picture of the year. The last picture of 2008 was a slightly-stylized portrait of Dinobot, with a shocked glare for the camera. He has the expression on his face of "You have two seconds to run." I was very pleased to see that I could draw him without reference.

The first picture of 2009 wasn't quite so easy. It was of the RDJ-version of Tony Stark as Ironman, with the mask slid up and with him blowing a few strands of hair out of his face. It came out fantastic, and both will be colored as soon as I can get Adobe CS3 figured out, but I'll put the lineart up on DeviantArt once they're scanned.

Overall, it has been a happy holiday season, with a lot of fun.
