Halloween Costumes:What are you going to be?

Ok,stupid question. But as I am prone to insanity,I'm currious. I myself am going as G1 Decepticon Thundercracker. I would have gone as a Beast Wars character,but didn't have the time or resources.

I wanted to be Skywarp,but couldn't find a purple vest for my costume,so I had to settle for blue.

It doesn't look paticularly robotic,but it's somewhat reconizable,and it's the most work I've ever put into a Halloween costume. Seccond places goes to the Jawa one I assembled last year!

It was really neat,and I had these creepy glowing red eyes...I acctualy scared the slag out of several little kids,but it was an accident.

I can't decide between my angel wings or my kimono. I think it'll depnd on the weather....

Same as last year, but I spent a lot of time making it, so it's worth it. I even made fingers to go with it. FEAR THE PUMPKIN!

I don't really go trick-or-treating or ot Halloween parties, though I do dress up as Optimus Prime for the kids that come to the door. It's not an elaborate costume-- I have no artistic talent whatsoever, so I can't make my own costume-- it's just the Movie Optimus Prime Voice Changer Helmet over my head, the "G1 Optimus Prime chest" T-shirt, and blue jeans. The kids get a kick out of how the helmet changes my voice, though.

Sadly, I haven't been able to find a costume. All the costumes I've looked at have either been to expensive or too slutty.

^ I feel your pain, SkyxDB. It took me AGES to find a decent costume.

Normally I don't celebrate Halloween, but this year I've been invited out to a costume party, so I'll be going as a greek girl. I LOVE my costume, I have the laurel wreath for it and everything!

Aaaaaaah! PUMPKIN ALERT!!!! *Puts all weapon systems on Red Alert:Code X* I know what you mean about costumes. It took me most of the year to come up with a good idea,I only decided on making a Seeker costume at the end of September!

Nurann,I am currently working wings into the costume. Putting role play aside,please recall that I am a thirteen year old girl,and I am almost all human-with a little Cybertronian that all truly insane Transformers fans aquire over a period of time. I have figured out how to make the wings,but not quite how to attatch them yet. The costume overall does not look paticularly metalic or showorthy,but I should serve,once I paint the cockpit on the shirt,which I am doing today. I am also working on null-rays. Right now,wings are optional.

O weeell. *long and dreary pause* My costume looks like a joke. *brightens* literally!

Imma gonna be a jester! I'm gonna paint my face white with blue diamonds over my eyes and i got one of dose stick rod thinga ma jiggers with the jester head on it. But shoot. I CANT do a cartwheel!

It woulda been perfect if I could do gymnastics.

inator! A jester...I'd like to dress up as a jester. You say you're going to paint your face with blue dimonds? Last year I was in a theatrical production of "The Jungle Book". As you probably know,Shere Khan the tiger is the main villian in that storyline. I was his little known sidekick(Though I had one of the longest and juciest parts in the play),Tabaqui (Ta-ba-kEE) the jackal. To cut a long story short,I was a comic relief type character(Kinda like Waspinator) with the personality of Terrorsaur,though not as trecherous. In fact,I didn't betray my master(Who was about a foot shorter than I was

),but instead bent his rules. Anyway,my makeup was supposed to make me look like a jester,and I had green and white dimonds on my optics.

Costume update:Well,tomorow's the deadline,and I don't have my wings done. I do however have a winning design for them,and plan to work around the clock to get them finished. My shirt with the cockpit is looking good,and I am using orange glow-in-the-dark fabric paint to color it. I sure hope I can get some descent pictures and figure out the trick to posting them on here,because even though it's not paticularly robotic,it's quite an accomplishment for me!

Eva heard o Honk? I was the Cat. Muwhahahahaha! My main goal was to eat the Ugly Duckling and boy was I bad. I lied and killed a flock of geese just to make Duck a la'orange (some French dis and dont ask).

Costume update:I think I might get the wings done in time. I am currently working on null rays and gloves. The cockpit shirt is looking good,and I put a fresh coat of paint on it this morning. I sure hope I can get some desent pics and figure out that link!

I also hope to see pics of everyone else's costumes. Janga,where are you? A Jack Skellington costume has got to be an incredable feat!

Well,I got the wings done in time,and drove the little kids(And older Transfans) crazy all evening. It's too late in the evening right now for me to tell you all the details,but I had a little "Showdown" with a little kid in an Optimus Prime costume.

All in all,my Thundercracker suit was a success. There are more things that I wish I could have added,such as gloves,makeup,etc. But I got my null rays,and several people with kids in Autobot suits pointed and said,"Look! There's a Decepticon". One guy even called me Thundercracker!

Happy Halloween to all! I'm warning you though,post pictures of your halloween costume,or I shall attempt to tape myself doing Waspinator and Blackarachnia and torture you all with my horrible impressions! Mwa ha ha ha ha!
