The Intergalactic Highway

Glowstick sighed as he watched the battle, putting the Leviathan into Autopilot, he detached the cables from the ship and started to float back towards the turret room, taking his seat, his cables then extended linking to the turret room. Rhinox held up his shield being taking the sonic blast sliding in the dirt slightly, he looked towards Orcariner and nodded starting firing at the leviathan while giving a rambo like roar, he then stopped firing as he noticed the Levaithan seemed to be moving backwards.

Glowstick activated the external speaker Really.. even with the guns down you guys are having so much trouble? Fine.. Then I'll even the odds, the Maximals aren't the only ones with a heavy hitter..Though I guess I have Rattrap to thank for this.. hehehehehe.. Primo Victoria then started to play on the Leviathan's external speakers as Glowstick spoke up LEVIATHAN! TRANSFORM! he shouted, a computer voice was then heard Behemoth unit online!

The ship started to light up as a loud twisted whale like call bellowed from the ship, like a enraged beast. The gun turret of the Leviathan raised up into the air as it seemed to twist and transform into a massive humaniod shape, from the joints and a dark purple glow of light came from the shape. It seemed familiar, specially to Oracariner. It's body heavily armored with a few peices of whale like tissue on it, the armor was mostly dark blue with talon like claws, the head seeming similiar to Oracariner's own head with the difference of a blackened Optic band that suddenly lit up with a Mono optic shining behind it, a faceplate that shifted revealing a gaping maw with purple light coming from the center of the mouth and edging the teeth. Upon it's chest were two small Anti air style machine guns.

The creature floated down towards the ground as a tentacle extended from it's back holding Glowstick's Raver blade as it extended to it's open form, grasping the blade in it's clawed hand it seemed to fit almost perfectly as a one and half hand sword, the typical blue glow shifting to the dark purple. The Behemoth suddenly launched forward as Rhinox started shooting at it, to no avail as even with the bullets hitting, the creature simply rammed through knocking the Rhino robot flying onto his back.

He then landed on the ground leaping towards Orcariner swinging the sword as it crashed into one of his shields, discharging electricity violently, the shield surface seen turning bright red and starting to cut in half from the heat generated by the blade, he seemed to laugh I must commend you, considering how reserved you are with this sort of destructive power! But you really don't have the nature to use it... DO YOU? he spoke, the mouth on the Behemoth not seeming to move like lips, just giving off a strange twisted roar as he finished speaking.


(Specs wise, the Behemoth is the same as Orcariner, but less sensor packages. Armor is bulkier since some of it is earth made materials and cloned parts, and it uses a flight system similar to Glowstick to float, and deal with it's own body weight..Weapons are just The Raver blade and two chest machine guns, the gun turrets on it's back take too much energy for the Behemoth to use without being docked to the rest of the Leviathan. Behemoth unit uses alot of power and has no energon shielding, so detached from the ship the user has to rely on their own field dampers reducing run time. Normally it has to be operated by two transformers, but with Visia held prisoner, Glowstick can use it alone, but doesn't get any bonuses that a combiner/gestalt would have like pooled skill,weapons,or knowledge. Only reason the skill and intelligence are the same is because Glowstick and Orcariner have same intelligence, er and skill reduced on Glowstick's part. )

Your psychotic panther friend Starshadow could do a heck more damage then a little shock.

"This is only the beginning, kitty.." Cecaelia pushed the blade inside the same slash wound then twisted it and activated its shocking abilities to its full power. It should be able to stun her since it's giving out a high voltage of electricity.

"Since you're begging for trouble, here's a dose of cybervenom." and with that, she sank her teeth on the tigress's arm, injecting her venom. Glowing green lines could be seen around the bitten area.

Alak wrote:"As a matter of fact, there is something you can do! Monitor the ship with Frilla. Like I said, I suspect the Predacons to send in a commando unit to infiltrate our base. The Nomad is already armed to protect the hanger and Icebreaker can take care of the brig. We need Frilla to repair our shields, so if any Predacons enter the ship, I want you to protect her. Remember, you are their objective so they'll be going after you more so than her. Not only are you protecting the Axalon from within, but you're also defending yourself."

The giant Maximal responded. He stood up and handed two weapons over to Arachnitron. She stared back in surprise. It was the Predacon that enjoyed a confrontation, the Hybrid and Maximal personalities were timid when it came to fighting. Though she was anxious to help the Maximals, she was also a little frightened. But she wouldn't back down. She nodded courageously at the orca's commands.

These should provide more than enough firepower to stop a Predacon indoors. Good luck."

With that, Orcariner disappeared down the Axalon's lift. Rhinox turned to Arachnitron.

If they come in here, run towards the Brig and get help from Icebreaker.

"Okay," she responded. And then it was just Frilla and Arachnitron alone in the bridge. The black widow stood behind Frilla watching for Predacons. She wasn't sure which way they'd come, but she figured the Maximals outside wouldn't allow the Preds to enter from the lift so there was no sense in watching from that direction. She wasn't sure what else she could do.

Frilla was typing furiously as she attempted to restore power to the Axalon's shields. After a few moments, she stopped to wait for whatever she had done to work.

"Arachnitron while we're in here I was curious to what you wanted to ask before."

Frilla didn't take her gaze away from the console in front of her. Arachnitron looked down at her feet. She hadn't been feeling shy before, but now she was hesitant to ask her question. But she couldn't think of any way to change the subject, so she answered truthfully.

"It was nothing. It's just that....well....I was raised to hate Maximals and think of them as weak, but now I'm here with them...." she hesitated. She turned away from the lizard. There were no words to describe what she was feeling and she couldn't even try to explain what she was going through without revealing her past as an experiment. "I just was going to ask why you left the Predacons. It's just that....I'm just having trouble convincing the Predacon side of me that she can't go back there. I know she will try....and this Predacon attack will give her the means to do it....I thought maybe hearing about others trading sides would help us all feel a little more comfortable going against everything we were taught to believe." She explained referring to her alters as separate from herself.

Suddenly, Arachnitron heard an ear-splitting cry from outside the Axalon. She widened her optics in surprise and turned back to Frilla. "What the slag was that?!"

Feralnight looked towards Sonar as he turned on her, putting the shield up Rhinox had given her though the force of it sent her backwards slightly, causing her to flap her wings to prevent from falling. Though she turned as she heard the sound like a whale, but it wasn't Orcarnier and she gasped at seeing the Behemoth in which had been the Levianthan just moments ago; it seemed the Predacons had a new weapon and it was going to be quite a match for Orcanier himself. Turning her attention to the battle field once more she noticed Manterror was also coming towards them though it seemed he had been looked over in all the chaos,"Might as well give him a little challenge." She said to herself before she flew towards the mantis, diving down to meet him face to face,"Hey Manterror looks like you could use a good fight, if you think you can handle it." The fuzor said, hovering above the ground.

Frilla paused in her work, glancing at the spider thoughtfully. She really didn't mind such a question and when she went to answer she too heard the sound, making her think it sounded a little like Orcanier yet at the time an angry beast screaming it's cry to attack, the thought made her dread what it could be."I hope I'm wrong in what I think it is." Standing the frilled lizard went to the monitor that showed the outside of the ship and stared in shock, seeing what was the Levianthan was now a transformer much like Orcanier's own build and frame. How had Glowstick accomplished this? Then again did she really want to know? Moving quickly back to the control panel she moved to continue debugging the systems, knowing it was a matter of time before they would end up scrap.

"That would be the Levianthan transformed Arachnitron and to answer your previous question I chose to leave the Predacons because I did not feel like I belonged with them. Where they were warriors and full of demands for the area of expertise instead of much research wise, I couldn't find my place among them since it is not in my nature to be a fighter and in fact I had a chance to strike down Optimus on the battle field when Whitegrazer first came, I told him the truth of my situation and the Maximals welcomed me with open arms." Frilla said looking at the spider,"To put it simply my place is not to be a warrior but I only do so when I am truly needed."

Wintersong growled in pain as the electricity this time emitted enough to stun her along with the cybervenom that was knocking her out, at least that was what the tigress thought was going to happen,"You preds...won't get...away...with this..."Wintersong struggled to stay conscious yet it wasn't enough for her will power alone and she soon went limp in Cecaelia's hold. Though the slash would surely be a scar even if she was repaired and anything else to happen she wouldn't aware of until she awoke or she'd be finished there and now.

"You preds...won't get...away...with this..."

Cecaelia's spare tentacles grabbed all of Wintersong's gun(s) (not sure how many she has) since she won't be using them, "We will so save your breath, you will need your voice for screaming in 3..2..1..." she dropped the maximal and left her. The physical effects of the venom should be acting on her now. First, she would scream from the excruciating pain around the bite marks, next her whole arm may feel the pain as the venom spreads to her body. In a minute, she would feel as if the pain on her arm spreads all over the body.

So one maximal is down....and the Leviathan is under attack?! "Stay away from Glowstick-kun you big fat horn head!" she ran towards Rhinox and started firing seven of her tentacle lasers, her venom blaster and Wintersong's gun, "Why don't you pick on someone on your- I mean smaller than your own size!"

((OOC: Oh god...Cece must've a a death wish facing Rhinox's chainguns of doom.))

OOC: Well, if we need to slow things down, maybe Arachnitron can switch personalities in a few posts. That would definitely hold things up a bit. Or she can switch just as the Preds show up....of course, the fact that she's currently not being controlled by the Predacon programming would probably hold them up a bit too unless Glowstick told them all about her multiple programming issue which I don't think he did. I assume they'd want to double check they were in the right place.

Or she can disobey Orcariner and leave the base to go help....but that might speed things up rather than slow them down....

Frilla looked up from her work to answer Arachnitron's question, but she was interrupted by the earth shattering scream that could be heard outside the base. The base had halted its rattling as the Predacons weapon fire was redirected to the Maximals who had emerged from the base to counter the onslaught. Frilla brought up the image on the monitor in front of the two femmes inside the base.

New Moon wrote: "I hope I'm wrong in what I think it is."

Arachnitron couldn't believe what she was looking at. What had once been a ship was now a bot as big as Orcariner. The killer whale was the biggest mech she had ever seen in her life. She gazed upon this new being in wonder, shock and awe....she didn't think there was anything that could equal Orcariner's size and build...but here she was looking at it. How exactly were the Maximals going to counter that thing?

"That would be the Levianthan transformed Arachnitron."

"It can do that?!" the spider gasped.

Arachnitron looked back at the lizard as she answered her question. She nodded in response. She didn't know if that really helped. It's great to be somewhere where you belong, but what if you don't know where you belong?

She turned away again sadly. "I just don't know what my place is...." she said almost desperately not necessarily intending to get an answer back. She turned back to the computer console where data flashed on the screen and still displayed the image of the behemoth and the battle that was ensuing around it. She began to get nervous. She wasn't able to count heads of the Predacons, but she figured the Maximals had to be outnumbered. Things weren't looking good.

"Is there something I can do to help? Are the communications back up and running? Should we try and contact Optimus? I mean there must be some way to get help from the others...." she tried not to sound panicky, but her Maximal programming's anxiety was beginning to override the Hybrid's courage. She took another deep breath as she let her optics flicker off.

"Stay back," she thought to the Maximal personality. Her optics lit up again. They Hybrid was desperate to hold onto control of the body. She was aware that two of the smaller Maximals were alone by themselves in the base. She didn't want to be a liability. She had promised to protect Frilla if things got out of hand inside. She couldn't do that if the Maximal regained control.

She looked over at the lift. "Couldn't I just go fire a couple shots from the lift and come right back?"

Manterror noticed the female tiger in the distance as he ran closed towards the Axalon. He had seen her many times before and knew that he could take her down alone if he had to. However, in this case, he hadn't needed to. Cecaelia caught the foolish maximal by surprise and was able to take her down for him. The Mantis felt proud to have served as such a good distraction! It was one of many things he did well.

"Hey Manterror looks like you could use a good fight, if you think you can handle it."

A voice called out from the distance, it was another female but this time it was a flier. He hadn't actually got the name of this one before... nor did he really care all that much. A maximal is a maximal, and since this one had the ability of flight, it seemed as if she would be a perfect target for him. "Ha! I don't want to handle you... I WANT TO DISMEMBER YOU! AHHAHAHAHAHAHH!!!!" The mantis screamed at maximum volume as he set his wings into motion and took off towards his prey.

Now in the sky, the Mantis eye'd up his target and prepared his weaponry. His sharp discs spun inside his claw, anxious to be released. With a quick flick of his wrist, he obeyed, sending two of his razor blades off to seek his target.



Airazor exited the Axalon's lift and immediately noticed Wintersong getting knocked down by Cecelia. "Not so fast!" She called towards the predicon, and fired two shots from her pistol towards her, hoping to catch the predicon off guard. Then, she immediately turned to find some sort of cover. Sadly, it appeared as if there was none besides the elevator lift itself, which didn't provide much at all. She would have to rely on her quick reflexes in order to avenge her fallen friend!

"That's probably a good instinct," Steelclaw said as he began hearing the first sounds of the fight at the front of the base. "But they've got two comrades in there. So I guess the risk of failing is worth it."

He ran with her to close the distance between them and the base and was figuring out which entrance to take when Snow Trix spoke up.

He glanced at the hangar entrance and then nodded. Just as there were about to enter though, he put out a restraining hand to warn Snow Trix to stay back. He took a blank grenade from his subspace and through it inside, thinking there may have been motion detecting security systems waiting to respond.

But he didn't hear anything happen, so he nodded again to Snow Trix and then jogged inside with her.

They'd hardly taken their first steps when he heard the brief, deep sound of the Nomad's guns charging up. His spark sank. Instinctively, he shoved Snow Trix as strongly as he could and then jumped the other direction. The shot which came next still tore into his side and spun him to the floor.

He quickly crawled back behind a crate while the weapon charged up again. A quick diagnostic showed he would still be able to run like normal and that his PPC was still working. He would take that much.

"Snow Trix, run to the front of that transport," he said, deploying his PPC. He got up from his cover and blasted at the autoguns, which managed to throw their next shot off trajectory. Then he dashed to the front of the Nomad to join his partner.

The auto-guns tried to track them, but the shape of the ship made it so that the autoguns were blocked by the Nomad's frame. Now he and Snow Trix could walk along the sides of the ship and then behind it uninhibited.

Steelclaw took a glance at the entrances to two hallways leading off of the hangar.

"Can you pull up video on that thing?" he pointed to Snow Trix's arm computer. "Let's see who's in the brig and who's in the bridge."

At the moment Aurora was glad she had the hearing of an ermine, as despite Rattrap muttering underneath his breath, she caught what he said. Smirking at the rodent, she then responded with a teasing; "Aww, did I use too many fancy words for ya?" as she maintained her stance ready for Rattrap to make his move against her.

Nothing to it.. or so she hoped.
The demonstration had looked rather tricky to master, but she was still willing to give it a chance. She kept her wings tucked flat against her back, draping down on the ground behind her, since she didn't want them to get in the way.

"Just remember what Whitegrazer showed ya,"
"Focus, all right?"

Aww.. Beneath that tough guy exterior, Rattrap truly was a caring individual who really meant no harm. At this point she wanted nothing more than to give him a hug, but she didn't want to drop her concentration at such an important time.

"Yeah.. Come on then," she encouraged, wanting to get this overwith before she regretted it and backed down.

She braced herself as best she could, waiting for Rattrap to make his move so she could attempt to use his own force against him.. whether it be a speedy attack, or mere brute force. If he tried to lunge at her, she would move subtly out of the way, grab his arm, and pull him onto the ground while his balance was off. Or at least that was the way she played through the scenario in her head..

And sure enough. Rattrap's punch came within moments, although his movements appeared a bit slower than what she was expecting. Aurora's mind raced through the lesson Whitegrazer had attempted to show her. How did she..?

Almost on instinct the small ermine stepped sideways, leaning away from the punch against her abdomen. As Rattrap's momentum shifted just as he was about to impact, she let her hands wrap around his outstretched arm and yanked it. It wasn't a very hard yank by any means, and in a normal situation it probably wouldn't have phased Rattrap, but right now his body was moving which meant his balance would be disrupted fairly easily.. She hoped..

((Been letting others post first and well last couple weeks of the semester for me here before winter break so few more tests coming up. Also I am going to be somewhat busy next week due to study guides or notes to look over for the finals the week after.))

Snow Trix stopped when they had gotten to the hanger, letting Steeclaw take the precaution needed before it was safe to try and go in. Though as soon as they did she heard the sound of charging auto-guns and went to look but the snow fox yelped in surprise as she was shoved hard one direction, Steelclaw going another but none the less still getting hit despite moving. Standing she glanced back for a moment before hearing her partner yell for her to move and she wasted no time to obey and rushed to the front of the Nomad where she soon was joining Steelclaw once more and avoiding being shot at again by the auto-guns on the Nomad.

"Yea I should be able to, hopefully it is only two." Snow Trix replied as she transformed to robot form, taking the magnetic computer off her arm and typing on it, finding the systems connected to the cameras and she began to work in a quick pace to hack into it. A few minutes passed before at last she was able to see on the cameras,"Alright we're in."She said switching on a screen to show the brig, focusing the lens a bit she could see inside Nemesis was there though she was sitting off to one corner but it was ahrd to tell how she was feeling and another camera showed Icebreaker, one of the Maximal heavy hitters.

Pressing a few other buttons Snow Trix focused a camera on the screen to find Frilla at the monitors and Arachnitron there ready to defend the place as well,"Our main target is in the bridge but we'll have to prevent our old friend from interfering, less we want to take her along as a prisoner." The fox femme said and glanced at Steelclaw to see what he thought.

Wintersong winced as she began to feel the pain in her arm, thinking the cybervenom would have knocked her out but it had only been from the power of the shock itself that had knocked her out. As she got to her hands and knees the tigress became aware of more pain, an excruciating pain that spread from her arm to the rest of her body that made her cry out and freeze completely as she tried to push through it. Whatever kind of cybervenom Cecaelia held was a much different type compared to the spiders or even Glowstick that knocked you out cold, and right now she wished it had the same affect but it was nothing but pain that her body was processing.

Though over the pain she faintly heard Airazor and looked up as she gritted her teeth, trying to block out the pain as it coursed through her systems like an inferno."Airazor worry about Cecaelia..."She said pausing before talking once more,"I'll be fine."She had to try and pull through it and unfortunately she was defenseless besides her claws and dual wrist launchers.

Frilla shook her head,"No it never could before. I even helped make some of the systems on it but it seems Glowstick improved it since the last time I was with them." She said looking a little worried that this could put the others in danger not knowing the capabilities this new transformation had for the Levianthan though she looked at Arachnitron with an unsure look. She thought about how some of the Predacons were missing and it worried her a bit,"Check to see if you can give them back up Arachnitron, I will be fine here until otherwise seen. But be careful, some of the Predacons are missing and I am unsure if they are sneaking around or still at the Darkside." She told her.

Looking back to the monitor she was growing concerned for the others and had a bad feeling that something was going to happen unless she could get the sentinal defenses back up and running.

Wow this mantis was either fairly insane or really liked to yell everything he said, regardless the fuzor wasn't about to let this crazy insect get the best of this battle, though she quickly brought up her shield, hoping to stop the attacks. Feralnight was lucky to stop on razor disc but the other found it's mark, striking right through the top of her wing and making her howl in pain, her wings being fairly sensitive areas and a good attack could cause her to lose the advantage and in this case it would give the enemy an upper hand as he could fly too. Glancing at the damage from behind her shield Feralnight could see mech fluid and energon dripping from a severed line and a few cables cut clean through.

Putting down the shield Feralnight growled a bit,"My turn." Aiming her shoulder cannon the fuzor fired off a few shots towards the mantis, trying to see if she could shoot him down first before she ended up with cut up wings and spending a couple hours in the CR chamber.

((When do you guys want the shields up? I've been stalling since I am unsure when Snow Trix and Steelclaw or the other Preds will make their move.))

(Hard not do end up doing that sorta thing if it makes it easier on everyone, though doing it all the time can be bad. Though sometimes.. characters just have to wait awhile to be used. )

Rhinox slowly got up after essentially being punted by the Behemoth, he suddenly was surprised as a onslaught of fire came from Cecaelia, the venom blast striking into the shield with a few laser shots striking over the shield and Rhinox's heavy body. Rhinox's optics narrowed as he swung up his Chaingun letting it spin up and open fire on Cecaelia as he let out a roar That doesn't even make sense!

Icebreaker kneels down with his shield facing towards the only entrance to the Brig, his right hand holding the plasma pistol. It seemed safer to use then his missiles or ice. His tactical visor scanning for any heat or energy signatures in the hall as he waited.

Tigatron wrote:Do you hear that? It almost sounds like... explosions.

Dinobot was immediately ready to go. He gave Ironclaw a quick look to comment on the gravity of the situation and see if he felt the same way.

Then he charged after Tigatron.

"Perhaps we shall be confronting the Predacons after all," he said as he caught up to Tigatron. "Finally. I welcome the opportunity."

The lesson was to put less force into his punch? Cheetor guessed that made sense since Whitegrazer knocked him flat, but it was still frustrating- he had put that much force into his punch to avoid total defeat, not to make it happen.

Well, anyways, hopefully the Predacons didn't know diffusion. Because speed was the best thing he had to rely on. It had even helped him beat Blackarachnia once. He couldn't just... not put speed into punches, could he? Maybe he just needed more finesse with that speed. Or something.

Cheetor didn't say it out loud, but he decided the real lesson was to not try to punch Whitegrazer.

But there was definitely something to learn defensively speaking- to Cheetor's amazement, Aurora deflected Rattrap's attack on her first try.

((OOC: I figured the Nomad's guns were like the Axalon's auto-guns. I was just looking at the picture of the Nomad over in its thread, and it looks to me like the guns wouldn't be able to aim directly down at the sides or front of the ship because of its rectangular(ish) shape and the positioning of the guns on the roof. But I could easily be understanding things wrong.))

Steelclaw watched the surveillance that Snow Trix pulled up on her infiltration computer. The Maximals had done exactly as Glowstick said they were planning to- Icebreaker was in the brig and Frilla was with Arachnitron in the bridge.

He quickly changed his plans.

"Alright, quick- lets get to the bridge. Arachnitron can be rescued without breaking down any doors. And we might find a way to get to Nemesis more easily from there."

He grabbed his rifle and aimed it in front of himself in a ready position as he chose the hallway which led most directly to the bridge and didn't go by any entrances to the brig which Icebreaker might otherwise see the two Predacons through. Even then, he and Snow Trix would have to keep watch. If Icebreaker's heat sensors were powerful enough to sense their presence through the walls of the Axalon, things would turn very interesting, very quickly.

After they entered the hall, things went uneventfully, which he was glad for.

Once the two finally came near the bridge, Steelclaw paused, considering something silently. When he seemed to make a decision, he retracted his PPC and put his rifle back into its place.

"Psst, guys," he said loudly enough for the two Maximals to hear him. He walked into the bridge, his face the picture of innocence.

"Ah- my former comrade," he acknowledged Frilla before turning to Arachnitron. "And the comrade I haven't met yet." He raised his voice slightly to be heard over the gunfire outside.
