I think it would be logical when the Preds find out the connection between Primal and CC, they'd enjoy watching Primal in pain without even touching him speciffically.

Example:

Megatron kicks CC in the groin and smirks deviously as he noticed his nemesis drop onto the ground moaning in obvious pain.
"Well isn't this a surprise? These aliens actualy did something right for a change.
Oh... I'm gonna enjoy this. Yeeesss..."
Evil chuckles escape from Megatron's vocal processors as he continue to kick the banana's out of a downed CC.

Now, how would one defeat the alien clone when you're putting OP through so much pain? And if OP is the only one who can defeat him, how is he supposed to do that?

1.) The Predacons, as Venatrix said, would have no problem putting Optimus through so much pain.
2.) I'm not sure Optimus is the only one who can defeat Clear Convoy. I think it'd be a huge challenge for anyone, of course, and probably the safest bet of actually destroying him would be to focus on killing methods rather than specific match ups. Blow some holes in him and knock him in a pool to see how Vok tech stands up to water? Surround him with the freeze-attack characters and then shatter him like the T-1000? Overwhelm him with the sheer number of bladed characters and dice him to scraps?

I'm still not sure how to divide teams, or how to keep both sides down to one group each. I understand story logic is a problem, but everyone does want their characters in this specific story don't they?

I know OP isn't the only one who can defeat him, it was just a scenario I threw out there because that's what a lot of the characters would probably think since he did it before, and simply because his weapons, strength and speed match his. However, because of this little sync they'll have, OP most likely won't be able to deal with him, so I'll leave it to someone else (or some others) to team up and conquer the pesky alien. At the moment, I'm not sure whether or not CC will know about this link when he arrives, or if it was accidental and he finds out about it later.

Yes, I'm sure the Predacons would have a field day with it. So the Maximals might have to deal with a way to keep Predacons at bay and not torment CC just to torture OP at the same time. Or keep OP protected in case the Predacons assume that if they kill OP, they'll also kill CC at the same time.

That crossed my mind as well, NK. If some kind of transmission was being used, maybe one of the other Maximals could figure it out and damage the link. If a virus was used, Rhinox could possibly conjure up an antidote or something for OP to fight it. Either way works for me.

Has it been established which characters are going into the labyrinth/maze/caves/whatever, and which will be remaining at base?

I doubt my character will be very useful for a cave mission, being the claustrophobic that she is. I just don't see her going into narrow caves willingly, unless there was something extremely tempting for her inside.

I'm getting ready to bring in my new Maximal character (working out the quirks so I can get a profile posted asap), but with the baby already having dropped down into my pelvis birth could happen any day now, so I do feel like I should hold off on the major introductions until after the baby is born.. Yet with the hospital having wifi and all, I'd love to keep Nemesis in the game, just not sure how to work out the next episode for her sake.

Traps should be fun to label since there's quite a list of them we could use. Let's see we got arrows shooting from the walls, spears coming up from the floor, a trigger for a rolling boulder, hidden pits to fall into, swinging axes, snake pits...think that's just a few too.

The map doesn't have to be a complicated drawing. It could be a simple plan on labeling paths and certain areas for the different groups. Since it is a cave, we know there would be tunnels of rock but we could have a change of scenery as they continue and show more of an alien presence with traps changing into a less primitive mechanism to a more sophisticated, challenging pieces that forced the groups to have to coopertive in order to get pass them. (OF course, this all doesn't need to be shown on the map. We can imagine it and be creative with it in our posts =) )

I got a question. Would CC appear inside the labyrinth, meeting Optimus or would CC lead the people into the trap? Also, since we are going to have that link with CC and Optimus, I think my character should be the one who fights CC since her fighting style inflicts less harm so Optimus won't be severely damaged. Ouch. XDDD Just a suggestion XD

Okay, we still need to settle the group thing. To make it easier, do you guys just want to stick with just one group of Maximals and Predacons and have the others do something else? Do you guys think that would be easier?

It sounds easier to me except of figuring out what the others would do. XD But what do you guys think?
