The Intergalactic Highway

Megatron continued to watch through Feralnight's eyes and listening to any other information they could offer. Then came the voice he had been hoping for: Inferno was back. Standing he walked over to the door of his personal quarters which opened so Megatron was peering at Inferno and was quite shocked to see the object. "Excellet indeed Inferno!" He said as he took golden disk from the red ant and examined it closely realizing it was like that of the one they had stolen on Cybertron!

If this was here then that only meant one thing, this organic dirt ball was Earth, the very same the Autobots and Decepticons had fought so long ago."Well, a surprise this is indeed, this planet is not only any other planet but the very one the Great War in which the Autobots and Decepticons fought in. This planet is in fact Earth." He said aloud and began to pace a bit within his room, talking mostly to himself.

"Perhaps my goals have been falling too short, Cybertron is only one planet. Why conquer one when I should be aiming higher! It's my destiny to not just rule one planet but all of them, like my namesake once did it is my turn to bring back the glory of the once feared Megatron, it is time the Predacons took control and crush the Maximals and all who oppose us!" He said with a growing wicked glee, laughing manically until he was interrupted by choking a bit and had to clear his throat but all the while Megatron knew now that there was much more to this planet then they had thought. And the aliens knew it too yet the Maximals were oblivious and still this also proved something big was coming.

Onyx only nodded but didn't want to interrupt Venetrix in letting her explain her weapon to Steelclaw. Be was patient and didn't mind being silent when it came to a conversation. In fact he didn't always engage in speaking but more of listening, waiting for a right moment to speak unless directly spoken to.

((OOC: Umm Una, Star's the only one bathing Bats. No Cece around))

"Nothing of great importance. Or anything that concerns you."

Starshadow just sighed, "...Do you always have a hard time being positive for once?"

"Enjoying your bath Sonar?"

"Go choke on something she-spider."

The feline bot gave him a big slap on Sonar's face and sat on his thighs, "Be nice or mommy will spank you more!"

"Make sure to get him good on his aft and...clean his mouth with soap too."

Starshadow did a little neck rotations and loosen her whip around Batbot's arms so she could scrub his fur and clean his armor. She was enjoying herself. "Isn't this romantic? But somehow my psychotic charm doesn't work on you." leaning closer to his face, she whispered, "Disappointing, don't you think?" she licked his cheeks then to his neck.

"Get back here, you coward!!! We're not finished!!!"

Manterror felt the rocks rebound against his metal shell but he didn't bother to look back. If their was one maximal that he didn't want to get pissed off, it was Icebreaker. He had no plans on becoming a frozen mantis anytime soon and the thought of it made him shiver with fear. He would much prefer to get set on fire by Inferno then freeze to death. So, he ran and hoped that his bluff would prevent the Maximals from destroying his creation.

"I have no doubt I'll be sitting out of this game for a while Airazor, by now I'm sure Optimus is more then annoyed with my taking off."

Now that Feralnight was in sight, Airazor merely nodded in response. She had nothing really to respond with as her comrade was 100% correct. Optimus would not be very happy with this move and might ground her for a day or two. Hopefully Feralnight ended up gathering some good intel on her romp in predicon lands to make up for it.

"Think the only Pred out here is Glowstick. Looks like I will be cleaning slime out of my fur and feathers for a month."

Airazor smiled, amused at the way her friend looked with all the green slime in her fur. She looked almost like a flying shrubbery! "'Nothing a hot oil bath wont fix!' as Rattrap would say!" She responded, still with a grin on her features. They had a long flight home and it hadn't taken too long until Airazor's mind began to wander off. At first, she wondered if she really wanted to go back to the Maximal base. She hadn't been their in a few days and while she loved the Maximals, she knew that if she went back their she wouldn't seen Tigatron again for some time. Still, it would be rude of her to not escort Feralnight back to base and who knows what the fuzor would do if she was left alone. Then, her mind wandered to Tigatron, as usual. (OOC: Insert gushy Tigatron thoughts here that I dont' wish to write about. )

Before too long, the pair made it back to the Maximal base and Airazor opened up her com to message Optimus. "Airazor to Optimus: I located Feralnight, it seems she ran into a few preds on her adventure. We're coming in for a pit-stop and then I'll head back out to my sector for more scout patrol." She said before adding another bit on. "Unless you need me for something else, of course."

"Awww, what's the matter, Sonar? I thought this was your dream to be bathed by Starshadow."

Sonar growled again. "This is more of a nightmare then a my dream come true."

"Make sure to get him good on his aft and...clean his mouth with soap too."

I hate spiders as much as I hate felines!! He screamed in his mind.

"Be nice or mommy will spank you more!"

He was very close to loosing his temper after Starshadow slapped him.

"Isn't this romantic? But somehow my psychotic charm doesn't work on you." leaning closer to his face, she whispered, "Disappointing, don't you think?" she licked his cheeks then to his neck.

That's it!! He told himself.

With a sudden burst of strenght and speed Sonar sat up, throwing Starshadow off him and removing the whip from around his body as he sprange from the tub, spraying soapy water ever where. He looked like a drowned rat with wings.

"Lets get one thing straight. I will never be attracted to a crazy bi-polar female like you! My fantasy come true would involve you being face down in ditch dead!" He shouted as his temper got the better of him.

As he headed for the door he let out a few sonic blasts at the floor and wall before leaving, brushing past the female spider and heading back to his quarters, leaving a trail of water behind him and muttering death threats under his breath.

((OOC: We're killing him, aren't we? ))

((OOC: Pretty much, this will help with him going all bat shite crazy in season two. Oh and Sonar maybe a little nuts himself but he doesn't go for femmes like Starshadow, he likes femmes who are stable and some what normal a little strange is ok. Lol))

Inferno knew that he had pleased his queen bringing him the disc.

."Well, a surprise this is indeed, this planet is not only any other planet but the very one the Great War in which the Autobots and Decepticons fought in. This planet is in fact Earth."

Inferno didn't say anything when Megatron started to talk to himself, he never questioned The Royalty on why did that it wasn't his place to ask.

Inferno liked where this was going, more colonies would fall under his Queens rule or burn should they resist.

Iromclaw heard Optimus over the comm link, he want him present in the command centre. He had no idea the reason for it but it was Optimus so he would go. Not just because Optimus was his commanding oficer but he knew that Optimus had always the best in mind for all the Maximals. He left his quarters and made his way to the command centre . It was about time he got out of his quarters, he'd been hiding there due to past events. He wanted to put all of the issues regarding Aurora behind him.He approached the command centre and saw, Dinobot already waiting and Frilla and Rhinox sat at the monitors. He kept his head low for a while walking up beside Dinobot. "Why did Optimus call us here" Ironclaw asked but not directing it at anyone. He wondered who knew about what happened.

(ooc: ..... Maybe Sonar needs to invent a Starshadow-repellent of sorts? Whenever those two are near each other, weird stuff tends to happen. Poor Sonar seems to be out of luck if looking for a 'normal' Predacon chick though. You have the sociopath, the crazy, (sea)man hungry squid, the insane panther, the other panther who only wants to improve her battle skills, and the spider who is about to swap sides for the Maximals when the sweet-talking-but-oh-so-lame Silverbolt comes into play.. Not the best picking grounds. )

Aurora listened as Whitegrazer told her story while galloping elegantly through the terrain, remaining quiet until the white mare told of trying to rebuild an Autobot that had crashed on the planet.

"Wow.. Wish I got to see something like that! Were they as big as the stories say? Are there any around here that I'm not aware of?"

The thought was indeed intriguing to the little ermine fuzor. She hadn't been around at the time they had received a brief visit from a Decepticon, and knew very little of how the larger transformers lived. As of yet she was unaware of how extremely dangerous an encounter with one of their ancestors could be.

Pausing for a brief moment to give Whitegrazer a chance to finish her story, she then exclaimed, "And how did you handle those Decepticons?"

((OOC: Sonar needs himself a Harley Quinn. XDD ))

"Wow.. Wish I got to see something like that! Were they as big as the stories say? Are there any around here that I'm not aware of?"

"Yeah, he was huge. He didn't take the Great Upgrade like the others did." Whitegrazer chuckled, "Well, this planet seems to attract alien lifeforms like a moth to a flame. It kinda reminds me of Earth and how that little blue planet seemed to attract our kind, so you never know what you find here on this planet." She turned her head and winked at Aurora.

"And how did you handle those Decepticons?"

She continued her story, "Well, we couldn't really face them face to face. They could squish us like bugs since they didn't take the Great Upgrade either, lucky me back then. My commander ordered me to find a way to wake up the Autobot so we could have an advantage as they were going to lure the Decepticons away. I was pretty scared out of my wits. All the excitement I felt changed into a fear for my life, desperation. I was so worried about my comrades that I nticed I was messing up on the repairs. My emotions were very overwhelming and I had another problem." She gave a pause, "A missile probably from the Decepticons tipped the ship enough to bring me and the Autobot into some kind of old ruins underground. Surprisely, it was Cybertronian in design." Whitegrazer smiled, "Amazing and scary at the same time. Well, there was one good thing about that. It woke the old Autobot veteran up from his nap and man, his voice really boomed." She laughed, "I was scared of everything back then and the Autobot tried to calm me down. I thought we were doomed in that dark ruins but that Autobot just lead me through it all like it was nothing. Interesting ruins we discovered though. Inbetween the shock of being separated by my comrades and trying not to get squished by my Autobot buddy, they were kinda neat looking. They were made of some golden metal alloy with some cravings of battles and messages all around. It was very old battles. It made me wonder even til this day if those ruins were talking about that specific planet."

She thought for a second before againg continuing, "Then when I thought I was going to stay calm, I panicked badly." She laughed, "You would panic too if the two Decepticons came down and one started chasing you down. I was literally leaking energon. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I was still a protoform despite training. Training is different than what actually happens. You train to fight people your size, not giants. It was a real shock to my systems to the point where I thought I was going to die, but I kept going. I ran and dodged the Decepticons' attacks and his attempts to lunge at me all the while as the ruins traps were trying to kill me too. I was still screaming, though. I was such a screamer back then. Also, I didn't get used to bullets or lasers hitting me or falling into a deep pit and my side getting stabbed by a large metal spike which happened next. Yikes!" She widened her eyes, "That was painful, but I wanted to live. You don't know how far you can get if you keep telling yourself that you want to live. I just pulled the spike off and kept running, holding my side." She triumphly said, "Still, I thought I was going to die though because I was leaking energon and...I'm not going to say what else, let's just say I was in a lot of pain and was very exhausted. The Decepticon caught me in a dead end...I had my back against the wall, his eyes glaring at me, taunting with what he was going to do to me when..." Whitegrazer smirked, deciding to put alittle suspense.

Suspense made stories exciting. No harm in that.

Blackarachnia looked amused as Sonar who was dripping as he walked away. Looking at Starshadow, she decided it was time, "Hey, Starshadow, I like to talk to you about something, but not here. We have other optics and auditory sensors listening to us." She said darkly, looking around.

It was Megatron and Tarantulas she was worried about...will not worried just irritated at how some femmes can't have some privacy around here.

"Airazor to Optimus: I located Feralnight, it seems she ran into a few preds on her adventure. We're coming in for a pit-stop and then I'll head back out to my sector for more scout patrol." "Unless you need me for something else, of course."

Piercing through the air, Primal opened his mouth plate when Airazor's voice chimed in on his comm. link. While he was relieved that she recovered Feralnight in one piece, he was still a little frustrated about the Fuzor flying off and telling no one of her intentions or location. His Maximals knew better by now. He couldn't help but feel just a tiny bit suspicious about her actions. Lightly shaking his head to shrug it off, Optimus responded. "Thank you, Airazor. Both of you have a rest if you need it. You may return to your patroling afterward but don't wander too far from Base," he told her, implying that they might be running into some trouble later on depending on how this Vok anomaly panned out, and if he'd run into Predacons, needing someone quick to back him up.

Switching frequencies, the Maximal leader called to the white mare not realizing that was he interrupting one of her stories that he always found interesting. "Whitegrazer, this is Optimus. Airazor has found Feralnight and they're returning to Base. Call off your search party but regroup and show Aurora around for the time being." For now, everyone could enjoy this beautiful day while he occupied himself with a mission of uncertainty. Pulling out a small device as he flew quickly in the sky, he slapped it on his wrist and activated it. It optimized his range of scanners with coordinates to the mountain that had been showing some unusual alien activity. Right now he was too far away to pick it up, so Primal continued on his quiet flight, his thoughts pondering on Whitegrazer and what she had told him earlier. ((OOC: Just buying some time for Dinobot and Ironclaw to catch up and get on their way. I think I might have Tigatron join them later.))

"What the?!" Rattrap said when Cheetor suddenly laid down. "Well, yer the slowest cheetah I've ever-"

"Oh,"

Suddenly, the spotted feline jumped up and jerked forward, giving the rat some whiplash and making him instinctively grab Cheetor's fur tighter with all of his paws. "Whoa!" He held on for his life at first until he found Cheetor's rhythm and loosened up a little. "I could've fallen off, you know, and twisted a foot!" he tried making him feel guilty, yelling at him behind his head. Kids!

OOC: Sorry for the delay. I've been a bit under the weather.

The penguin-bot knelt down to patch up Arachnitron's injured leg.

Alright, that should do. Internal repairs will do a better job sealing that hole to make it look nice, but the patch will keep dirt and water out.

He explained to the spider. She was still sitting with her arms crossed not looking at the Maximals. It was taking an awful lot of will power to swallow her pride and let him tend to her leg. Even if he had been a fellow Predacon, she wouldn't have let him near her. She would have transformed and just delt with the slight twinge when she walked. She didn't need a slaggin' medic! But she held her tongue. She thought maybe they would be more sympathetic to her current weapon-less situation if she continued this docile facade.

The pengin stood up and held out his hand to help her up. She narrowed her optics at him and stubbornly stood up on her own ignoring his outstretched hand.

No one asks someone to care about them, it's just the natural way of things.There's always an opportunity to make friends upon meeting someone. Optimus reported on the radio he's giving your weapons back, so lets head to the Axalon and do that. Okay?

"Icebreaker is right, your a friend no matter what and we care about our friends and teammates. It's how this crew is Arachnitron. "

Arachnitron rolled her optics in response, but she chose this moment to answer the Maximals with a very serious tone. For once giving a straight and truthful answer instead of deflecting. "It is not something I am accostumed to. My life on Cybertron was much MUCH different than either of you could possibly imagine. You cannot change what you don't understand."

WIth that, she began walking towards the Axalon with a visible limp. This whole "friends" thing must have purposely been left out of my programming," she thought to herself. She called back over her shoulders to the others:

"Well, if we're leaving then let's get moving. And from now on, we're done using the F-word. You Maximals are making me sick!"

She decided to wait to transform for now. She still had some left-over adrenaline from the skirmish with Manterror and she wanted to be ready in case he was hiding out in the bushes somewhere. Though, with the way the mantis ran, she figured he was long gone.

Feralnight flew in silence for the rest of the way and when returning to the Axalon she heard the quick exchange between Airazor and Optimus, only able to imagine what Optimus would do when he returned to base. Flapping her wings a bit the fuzor took a slight dive towards the ship before flaring out her wings before landing fully, folding her wings back but could feel the dried slime making it very uncomfortable to move, not to mention a flight had dried it quickly, faster then if she were walking on the ground which was a little help but not by much. Grumbling under her breathe of having been caught by the squid, at least the memories that had been altered led her to believe, and how anyone could be so slimy, or want to be that slimy. It was disgusting!

Shaking her head the wolf/raven fuzor came to the lift and stepped onto it, letting it take her up into the Axalon but she said nothing to the gathered bots but quickened her pace to head to her quarters and avoiding being questioned. The last thing she wanted to do was face interrogation so soon, especially with her thoughts in a turmoil at the moment and any coherent thinking was out of the question. 'All because of a slip of the tongue.' She scolded herself inwardly, face going into a scowl as she came into her room.

Frilla turned as she heard the lift, raising an optic ridge with a little surprise to see the familiar green slime that was obviously only from one transformer,"Well something tells me Glowstick was out and about." She commented before looking as Ironclaw arrived but like before she could only guess it was to make sure the Maximals were ready for anything, or probably with expecting an attack of some sort.

Orcariner watched as Optimus rocketed away from the base and the ceiling hatch closed behind the Maximal leader. Walking into the main bridge, he saw Frilla and Rhinox at work. It was not long before Ironclaw reported to duty. Turning towards Ironclaw and Dinobot, Orcariner explained the reason for Optimus' order.

"Optimus is pursuing an anomaly which we believed to be of Vok origin."

Orcariner reached to the center console and activated the map. A hologram revealed the mountainous region which he had been illustrating for Primal a few minutes ago.

"He told me to give you and Dinobot the coordinates to his destination so that you may follow him and provide support."

A blip appeared on the killer whale's sensors and the titan paused for a moment. Feralnight had returned.

"Good luck," continued the giant, "The region is pretty rough on foot."

Orcariner turned towards the hallway. He intended to see how Feralnight was doing, but more importantly, why she decided to disappear. Optimus was always trying to to reign in the variety of free spirits on this ship. The leader saw it was prudent to maintain a cohesive unit in order to promote fellowship and to prevent losing strays to Predacon ambush. Unfortunately, Optimus was not here to inquire Feralnight's disappearance and whereabouts. Orcariner would instead do it himself.

Icebreaker shaked his head with a smirk as he watched Arachnitron. Guess I'll have to watch myself on the F-bombs..But other bombs..maybe not he thought to himself, then pulled out a strange looking device, it seemed like a battery attached to a clock timer, crystal tube, and a switch. He pulled the switch up and pushed it forward, then casually tossed the small device towards the Catapult which soon released a minor explosion damaging the device Manterror put so much effort into.

Icebreaker removed his shield from his shoulder tossing it to the ground in front of him as it unfolded revealing a tread track and engine. I'm done here. Don't worry about me catching up. Let's roll Song! He then hopped onto the board leaning down slightly while putting his right leg back, the board then suddenly accelerated forward.

He arched the board while turning to the left of Arachnitron, then shifted scooping Arachnitron up rather effortlessly, his body then leaned up upright while kicking the back end of the board in the direction he was facing as it started to speed up, weaving out of the way of the trees as they soon exited the woods. He then shifted the board sideways as they came into the dirt and sand slowing down in a slide waiting for Wintersong to catch up for a moment, which would be rather quick. Icebreaker laughed rather in a rather jolly manner Now that we're out of the woods, we can really open er' up.

His board then spun up turning towards the direction of the Axalon, Icebreaker's mask sliding up attaching to his visor as he accelerated again, soon cruising up to 60 mph in a few moments with a small cloud of dust following his wake.

Rhinox turned crossing his arms as he overheard Orcariner speaking.

Rhinox's optics narrowed as heard the name of the Aliens pop up. This could be dangerous..

Rhinox then looked towards the Computer as he heard the blip, seeing Feralnight appear on the radar. A second blip came up showing Icebreaker in the distance. He cocked an optic ridge So that's why Optimus didn't request one of our terrain specialists.. he said to himself. If Icebreaker and wintersong weren't already out, they would of likely been sent as both were probably better suited for the mission, but it'd probably be best to now let them stay at base to recover and guard the base.

Rhinox then glanced towards Frilla Inform me if anything develops, I'll be in the lab. Valkyrie seems to be getting worse..I caught her down by the brig.. she got in some how and didn't remember.. she seemed very disoriented.. I'm worried we might have to put her into a stasis pod to slow down the progression of her disorder..but that's not really a cure either.. he said in a rather solemn tone.

With a low sigh Wintersong turned her back to the wreckage of the trebuchet and took off after Icebreaker but her pace she made purposely slow. She still wasn't sure if going back was the best idea for now after the brief argument with Primal. But she decided against leaving like she once would and just sprinted ahead again, seeing a cloud of dust from Icebreaker's board and the tigeress shook her head. As she finally arrived to the Axalon she couldn't help shooting a glance at the penguin, showing a slight smile."Show off." She remarked to him light heartedly.

Turning her attention back to the ship Wintersong walked over to the lift as it came down and stepped on to it."Come on slow pokes or I'll live you down here." She said with flick of her tail but was also joking. If anything she was pushing the earlier events aside since it had been said and was over with. There were certain to be other things to worry about then that.

Meanwhile Snow Trix had slipped away from the others once more and hadn't bothered with telling them where. She was bored of doing nothing and thought something might be happening elsewhere but of course the land was often barren of life near the volcanos.

"What's to even bother with this plane when there is little we can benefit from save for the energon we hardly try to get." She muttered and kept walking, her snow white fur sticking out in the open land.

Rattrap wrote:I could've fallen off, you know, and twisted a foot!

"I- doubt it," he answered between gasps. "You're- feet are so small- there's hardly any place- to land wrong on 'em. Different- story- with your claws though-. You ever- clip- WOH!"

Cheetor skidded sideways to a rough stop, only trying to be a little more careful so he wouldn't throw Rattrap off. Not that that wouldn't be fun, but with Rattrap digging into his fur, it would be painful if Rattrap tried hard to stay on with too much force trying to pull him off.

"I spotted Feralnight and Airazor," he announced to his passenger. He was looking up into the sky and watching her fly overhead, which wouldn't have been easy to do if it wasn't such an overcast day.

He looked further down the plain and realized he could still see Whitegrazer and Aurora, which meant they'd be able to see him and Rattrap stopping and figure out why, or they'd be able to see the two fliers themselves. Still, maybe just in case...

"Hey, Aurora, 'Grazer," he got on his com-link. "Both of the fliers are headed your way. You see 'em yet?"

Dinobot watched silently as Feralnight ran by. She didn't seem in the mood to discuss anything, and he certainly wasn't in the mood to take the extra effort to demand a discussion. But he almost smirked. There was something comical about her just showing up in the bridge looking so unkempt and then scurrying by without a word as though her condition was beyond description.

Dinobot growled quietly as he walked over and peered at the hologram.

"I'm beginning to think we should just have these aliens take the fight to us," he answered Orcariner. "It seems our habit to rush into their ruins and hope nobody gets terminated.

"But very well," he said after a short sigh. "If Optimus has given chase, we would not do well to leave him vulnerable.

"Understood," Dinobot replied. He immediately turned around and walked over to the lift. As soon as Ironclaw joined him, he had the lift go down. After it stopped, he hit the ground running.

((OOC: And Mystrea, you can post whatever you want to in response to Frilla/Orcariner/Dinobot/Feralnight/Airazor, etc. before you have him join Dinobot on the lift. I'm just getting that part of the story in as soon as possible.))

No words from Megatron since he doesn't seem interested, but we could do an operation to recover the two girls if you're up for it Claw.

When situations came which Steelclaw enjoyed, he didn't like to make a big deal of showing his enthusiasm to his comrades. But inwardly, he had become very excited at the prospect of this mission.

"I'm all for a rescue operation. Have you recruited any one else?"

Keeping his com-link open for Glowstick to hear, he looked to Venatrix and Onyx.

"What about you two?"

((OOC: Venatrix, please still feel free to post a response for Venatrix in regards to her, Onyx's and Steelclaw's conversation. As with my post for Dinobot, I included this part of the story which occurs just a little bit afterwards for the sake of time.

Anyways, I think Phoenix might want to have Nemesis break out of the brig herself, so... what say you about this mission Phoenix? Do you want the Predacons to succeed in the recovery mission, or should we let your character rescue herself?

And on one final note, in terms of Predacon femmes, Snow Trix is also around, and she's neither crazy, nor overly-ambitious.))

Starshadow got startled for a moment when she was thrown back to the other end of the tub and blinked when Sonar stood up. First ouch.

Her optics widened when Sonar let out a few sonic blasts. One of it sent her to the end of the room. The thin metal plate which was covering her scars got knocked off from the impact. The pantherbot looked at her reflection and touched her scars. The scars...the scars!!! She pulled off her silver helmet, throwing it aside and tried to cover the ugly half of her face with her hair like a madwoman.

Cecaelia was getting bored while she walked in circles outside the Darksyde. What was she supposed to do again? She went back to the Darksyde to think about it.

Earth?! This dirtball is actually Earth?! The planet Visia wanted to conquer during the Great War?! Cecaelia looked at the golden disc Megatron was holding.

"Perhaps my goals have been falling too short, Cybertron is only one planet. Why conquer one when I should be aiming higher! It's my destiny to not just rule one planet but all of them, like my namesake once did it is my turn to bring back the glory of the once feared Megatron, it is time the Predacons took control and crush the Maximals and all who oppose us!"

Megatron is going to conquer Earth?! Cecaelia took a deep breath and hopped on a hoverboard, hoping she would get more information.
