Where's Jazz?! *throws arms in air*
lol it seems like they're tossing in a lot of generic Decepticons. Nothing like using disposable characters to showcase the good guys' powers.

I watched the first two episodes so far and here's my thoughts:
- Michael Bay styled transformers aren't bad at all, but I would have preferred the WFC models since it's supposedly taking place in the same universe. At least Optimus still has the same Ion Blaster design from the game.
- They made a commercial for him and everything, but Cliffjumper was killed within the first couple of minutes... what the heck.
- Raf is my favorite human character so far since he's actually useful. He understands Bumblebee, he knows computer source codes, he's not intrusive, and he's genuinely innocent at heart.
- I'm neutral with Jack, but Miko annoys me. She's the loudmouth and is extremely nosy. I can already tell that her insistence to be included in battles will make her a plot device in which Autobots will have to save her over and over again. She reminds me of Pepper from the Iron Man: Armored Adventures series. I hope she has real character development.
- Frank Welker and Peter Cullen sound natural in their respective roles as usual, but I also thought Jeffrey Combs was fantastic. I liked him as The Question and I think he brought the attitude with him in this role.
- Bumblebee is probably my favorite Autobot, and the wrist guns are big contributions as to why I like him.
- The sleek, almost frail image of Starscream suits him for the scientist role. I hope he's still good in combat.
- Like most (if not all) CGI television shows nowadays, the textures look a bit flat and it seems that Hasbro made everything shiny to distract us from that. On the other hand, I was intrigued enough with the episodes to ignore this.

I kind of like it so far too.
I like how it it's kind of dark, but also has some humorous moments as well.
As for the designs, some of them kind of cool, but Screamer's design looks kind of silly to me. As for Optimus, I think he looks better with the battle mask on then withour out. As Megatron, I can tell he heavily resembles his Bayformers design, but so far I like how so far he's definately coming off as a scary mofo who's a force to be reckoned with. As for Bumblebee I love how the managed to make him bad ass and adorable at the same time. Also I love Arcee's design and her charatcer has been pretty awesome so far too.
As for the humans, I like Jack because I feel he's a believable charatcer. I like Raff as well, with how he can understand Bumblebee and with his skills with technology he'll definately be useful charatcer. When you think about it in, in away he's almost like mini Chip Chase from G1 minus the wheelchair. As Meeko, I can understand why soem people would find her annoying but kind of like her. I guess mostly because form what I've observed it's kind of nice ot see a female charatcer who likes pink and girly stuff, but same time will geek out over robots. But yeah, I do hope she gets some good charatcer development and doesn't just end up being a useless charatcer who has to be rescued all the time.
But of course I'm not happy that Cliffjumper was killed off so quickly. Man what happened to him was just awful. Though I think he would have been a fun charatcer to watch if he had lived.

Yeah with Cliffjumper, when Megatron revived him with Dark Energon I was like "Ok, here's the plot device that brings him back to life. It all makes sense now." Then, he tried to attack Megatron and... well... he didn't stand a chance.

Well, it finally happened. Miko finally fulfilled her role as the naive, rash girl who gets into trouble. She pretty much blew Bulkhead's stealth approach and relied on him getting out of cover to save her. Jack thus far has shown moral purpose to the show, and Raf once again proves that his technical skills make him the most useful human character.

I'll say it once, and only once: Transformers: Umbrella Version.
Still an overall good episode. There's gonna be tons more action in parts 4 and 5 so i'm excited.

I also agree that the "Ratbat" scene was awesome because I'm a huge fan of aerial combat. One criticism that I have, though, is the part where Agent Fowler is firing the machine gun which makes direct hits... but there's no visible signs of damage. Granted, Fowler's chopper did seem a bit small for military use, but the fact that it had a gun indicates that it was built to defend itself. U.S. Apache helicopter rounds are capable of ripping through fighter planes such as the F/A-18 Hornet; a jet that can take a hit from a missile and still function properly. I know that Cybertronians are heavily armored with metallic compounds unfounded on Earth, but sometimes I feel that creators make them a bit overpowered.
On a different subject, I'm anticipating Season 2 right now. I'm really curious to see if they bring in new characters. If I could pick three Autobots to return, they would definitely be:
1) Jazz - since the beginning of Transformer's history, he's always been Prime's 1st Lieutenant.
2) Wheeljack - he's the technological wizard, a role that has recently drifted into Ratchet's (the medic) lap.
3) Silverbolt - I think kids nowadays are actually smart enough to realize that air superiority is crucial in war. Planes >>> Cars.
