If you're talking about original, un-opened, figures, it really isn't that much. Think about it. It's the original version, not a 10th Anniversary re-make, that alone makes it a bit rare. It's un-opened, there's another thing that would drive the price up. You're looking for a mint condition figure that's 10 years old, and it's not like BW figures were as widely produced as say...Beanie Babies or an Xbox game like Fable or Halo (granted, there were some versions of Halo that weren't widely produced).
$175 USD is not too much when you consider what you're talking about.
