It's such a shame I live on another country and i'm still on exams on these weeks but i wish yo all the best of the lucks and hopping to be able to vistit USa pretty soon

I won't be able to partake in the roadtrip, sorry! School and life have me tied down where I am, but I'm not complaining ... there's a lot of nice things about this area...

Well, I can't join you guys, but I *can* provide a resting point for the convoy! I'm living in Tulsa, Oklahoma in a nice apartment whose living room space can support plenty of sleeping bags. The couch is a foldout too.
So I can provide a resting place and a good TV on which to watch my Beast Wars collection!
I'd love to see the old faces and meet the new!
And likewise would love to have the opportunity to be a good host ^_^

Sweet! Sometime next summer/spring I'm seriously gonna get a few people, go pick up other people on the way to and from...I guess if I'm the one to do it it'll start and end in NC xD it'll be awesome

We should have a gathering like...every year or every other year or something for BWINT! That'd be awesome!!! We could even see if Sapph will add a page for it if it can happen! ^_^

We did have some annual gatherings for a few years, but with everyone going into post secondary the past 2 years interest has dropped off. If there's a new generation interested in re-starting the Gatherings, go for it! And feel free to check out some of the old planning threads for ideas. If you need help finding the links to those, let me know and I'm sure I can dig them up for you.
Some ideas you might find helpful for a road trip/Gathering would be that if you're going to pick a spot to meet up, find the city closest to greatest amount of people that want to participate. It makes getting transportation for everyone easier.
B&Bs make great places to stay if you don't mind rooming with some of your fellow BWInters. That's what we did in Ottawa in '05, and it worked pretty well. Cheap (but decent) motels also work good - especially if the room has a TV and VCR. One tradition we set up during past Gatherings was to watch BW and TF episodes. If someone has a laptop with DVD abilities, that works well too, but make sure it isn't an old one with a faint processor or it may go into stasis-lock when Rampage jumps out of the shadows!
