dam u all seem to know wat u want to do with ur life

i dont

whatever it is i want to make something of myself b able to travel once a year to a new destination

im so clueless

and yes, i know its a shifty choice of career. and yes, i know there are thousands of actors/actresses who are trying to make it big. that would be a major bonus, but i just want to do what i love as a living. albei and unstable and unsure one. but im good at waitressing XD

bah. im going to end up as a drama teacher...i already teach drama...

sigh

Jagna, I know you should balance your dreams with logic... but I wouldn't give up hope. Those actors and actresses had to find a way to become what they are, it wasn't just handed to them. So why shouldn't you be able to attain your goals as well?

But, I kind of know what you mean. I often think of what I want to do in life and then say... that's impossible.

But that's not the right line of thinking.

Oh well, we'll figure our lives out

Another thing I can associate with! People are like "So hey, what do you want to do with your life?" And then I say "I wanna... no I actually want to... nah... but maybe... nope... and then... Augh, what the slag."

where did you hear that, anyway? or are you just trying to make a really bad joke?

i do, i do, but in this profession, you have people constantly reminding you of the harsh realities of an actor's life, sometimes cruelly. I havn't given up on my dream, no sirree, iv even been invited to stay with a friend in South Carolina and she'll fly me out to Hollywood or Broadway if we hear anything. Here's hopin! ^^

Most know what they want to be, but they don't know what's going to happen in the future, and events in the future could change what they want.

Janga? You wanna be in a Best Wars live action movie? Here's the question though. if it's going to happen four millions years ago like in the cartoon why do they need people? The people are monkey men at that time! You wanna play an ape?

Well, here's a funny fact which is very loosely connected to this topic. For the movie Army of Darkness (Evil Dead part III) they hired dancers to play the living dead. You think being a zombie, all you've gotta do is shuffle forward and moan, but the reason they chose the dancers is because they can control all aspects of their bodies and contort their limbs in very strange ways. So you never know, maybe playing a monkey requires a higher level of acting than a Shakepearian tragedy

I think if they were to create a live action movie, the easiest way to incorporate humans would be to show where they are at the time of the Predacons and Maximals (i.e. the future Cybertron) through perhaps some kind of alliance. Maybe even make it into a continuation of the BW story and its the future humans and Cybertronians against a larger power (not necessarily Unicron but you get the idea). Effectively you end up with TF the movie with smaller robots who change into beasts. Hmmm...

Anyhoo, goals, goals. Beastly, I wouldn't be too concerned at the moment with the whole overwhelming concept of goals. I think somewhere it was stated that you are in your mid teens. If this is so, alot of other people are in the same boat and others have come before to go on to greater things. I think its a good thing that you are contemplating the future, but make sure its something that doesn't consume you, otheriwse you'll miss out on the opportunities and fun that you have sitting before you now. Many people finish high school with no real direction and fall into a uni/tafe course or job and thats perfectly fine. Through that experience, you can determine if that's what you want to do or if its the worst thing in the world for you. Either way, you'll work it out. The important thing to remember is that no one gets it right the first time round. Be it work, relationships, friendships, family interaction or anything else to do with the many variations of life, we are all human and we are built to make mistakes. Its the only way we ever really learn.

Jagna wants to be an actress of some sorts, the harder the better.
Beastly was not sure us his goals and then suddenly he busts out with:

"coming soon only to cinemas!!

BEAST WARS!!!!!!!"

I believe this was his way of stating one of his goals (I may be wrong, in which case Beastly can obviously speak for himself), but he put Jagna in that reference because he knows she wants to be an actress.

simple answer tf movie 2007: was this set in 1985? they could do remake

it was part joking round part encouragment
jagna + acting + love of bw = bw movie staring jagna
kinda of like the syaing if u put ur mind to it u can achieve anything, look to ur goals with humour, it wasnt that bad was it

if thats wat u want to persue then go ahead dont let anyone say otherwise

actually i was thinking more parody like a big creature feature killer shark croc bats dinos etc but then over the movie it appears sum help rather than destroy then tf into bots etc fight, people find out they ancetors of previous bots (ie 2007) etc etc they go back in time but not that far back (ape men) jus a few years after the final tf movie, a remake

relationships thats a sticking point atm >.^

think that covers just about everything hm.

Besides, ppl, however they might feel about it i.e. its a good or bad idea, have wondered what they might do for a BW movie. i have thought about and read what ppl think of it. thing is, it cant really be "live action" if there are no ppl in it....otherwise it would just be a really good cgi movie

when it comes to what I want to do...hell yes! if there was a BW movie, id audition for it! what BW fan wouldnt want to?

thts why in a topic (some time ago now) i was asking if there were auditions being held for the TFs sequel. even to be an extra would be awesome.

my parents made a little joke. they said i should get a job and get rich right away so they wont have to pay for my university fees

Yeah, the modern time was kinda what i was thinking. i would always fantasise what would happen, how they'd get here, but most of those options were stolen from the current TF 2007 movie

I had this wierd dream that there was an archeaologist somewhere in Africa whodiscovered what she thought was something from the iron age. but then the US govt took over (you can see where this is going

) and it turned out to be either the Maximal or Predacon ship frozen in time. Sure its a rip-off of the original G1, but they didnt use it for the 07 movie, soooo.....*nudgehintwink*

maaaan, we've gone seriously off-topic.

before i can even think of oing thissort of thing, i need an agent! i need to know where to get one (d'oh!) and i need to know when and where auditions happen. and i need 'connections'. what we in Kuwait call 'wasta'. something my Lamda and Musical Theatre coach said they could help me out with

in the meantime, if any of you are in London this summer, you might (and i stress the word 'might') see me busking in Covent Garden!

if i get in, I'll be doing selections from musicals and what-not. It was my mum's suggestion, believe it or not! she says this is a great way to be discovered. fingers crossed for me!
