Got mine on 360. Seems Shockwave has some sorta power punch for his left arm instead of using it as a gun. Does Jazz have a unique Melee attack?

Jazz is actually kind of a letdown. His melee is the typical energon sword, but the real bummer is that his voice is the generic Autobot one that custom characters have. The only unique thing about him is his character model and pictures (which are awesome in spite of everything else). As for the game itself, I'm loving it so far. I have one level left before I beat the entire game but I'm saving that for tomorrow since it's late. There have been several moments of frustration, though.

- Died oh so many times against Zeta Prime towards the end of the fight where over half the room begins to quickly fall (following the A.I. doesn't help)
- Suffered severe frame rate lag during Optimus' assault outside the Decagon.
- When the Aerialbots use two turrets inside of Trypticon to hold off several waves of overshielded Dececpticons who are grenade happy and have snipers in the background to protect them. I died many times.
- The game actually froze during the mission above which made me really frustrated on top of that.

Other than that, I've been having a fun time. The voices threw me off for a while since I rewatched the first two seasons of G1 as well as the animated movie before this game was released. The character portrayal was really on point, though, so I laud the developers for that. Gameplay is really smooth although the campaign is really linear. Red Dead Redemption was the game I bought before this one, so took me a while to adjust to being on a one-way path. My favorite characters to use thus far are Soundwave and Optimus Prime. These two are my favorite Decepticon and Autobot characters, respectively, but playing with them is really fun. Cassette transformers make an appearance (as well as a Soundwave-being-a-daddy joke)!

Ah. I only completed Chapter 1 so far, I promised to play the game with a Buddy and he got home late from a meeting. Apparently Gamestop also didn't give him his code.. so today he's growling at them. Did alot of Multiplayer.. it's kinda a letdown in someways. But from what I've seen of the story play, it seems alot better then many of the past rehashes of the series.

After I beat the game by myself, I want to try the online co-op. The levels are fun and all, but like every other shooters the A.I. tends to focus most of its attacks on the human player. Since it's just me and two CPU players, I usually end up taking a LOT of damage in every mission.

***EDIT***

So I'm moving on to multiplayer now, but there's hardly anyone online. Maybe too many people are playing campaign still or I just need to hook my PS3 up to an ethernet cable, but I have never played a single multiplayer match yet due to lack of players. On the other hand, I have been playing Escalation a lot and despite me saying that Jazz was a letdown character-wise, he's the only Autobot I use lol. Actually...him and Barricade are the only two characters that I use. We all start with the same weapons, so why not select a quick, speedy character that can deploy energy shields and affect enemy movements :D NK, I now know what you were talking about with the power punch since I played with a Shockwave player. It looks pretty neat and his alternate mode looks pretty beastly as well (it's like a flying cannon!). Anyway, I'm hoping that multiplayer picks up once I move the PS3 into my room where the internet modem is. Otherwise, I'll probably be wishing that I got this for the 360 instead.

Played the game last week and finished the Autobot section in 3 evenings.
Finished the Decepticon run in one night.
It's easy when you're used to the controls.
With the Decepticons, i only ended up dieing when i was fighting Zeta, and the last part of Omega Supreme.
I really hope they'd create an add-on that takes much longer to finish.

So then, i sat on my coutch as my husband watch a Worldcup soccer match (Brasil vs The Netherlands, Brilliant match btw) and i thought: hey! Lets kill some noobs online.......
I guessed wrong..... I played for 15 minutes, killed one by accident, and was just a bit of canon fodder :S

The graphics and the movie files where awsome.
Gameplay is ok, definitely the best TF game up till now.
To bad my Venatrix version didn't do as well as my RP versions ^^

Yeah, with the Scientist class you're best playing a support role (i.e.- Medic or kill assist). I have found a lot of success using an offensive class, but I favor Scouts and Soldiers when it comes to TDM. Here's what I have for killing purposes.

Primary Weapon: EMP Shotgun (both shots and a melee will kill a Soldier)
Secondary Weapon: Photon Burst Rifle (great mid-long range gun)
Equipment: Energon Grenade (you'll need this since you only have 3 bars of health)
Ability 1: Shockwave (pushes enemies back + damage)
Ability 2: Drain (drains enemy's health and recovers yours)
Upgrade 1: Energon Storm (makes Shockwave more powerful)
Upgrade 2: Leech (makes Drain more powerful)
Upgrade 3: First Aid (or Rapid Recharge when you hit level 25)

I only succeed when I play the hit and run role with this. Fly around until you see a straggler by him or herself and then drop down. Hit the Leech command in mid-transformation and have your EMP Shotgun ready. If you can't kill the person and they're barely out of range to melee, then use Shockwave. You can either stay and wait for the shotgun to finish reloading or take off. I prefer the latter option since the reload time gives the other player a good window to kill you (which isn't hard due to your low health). I highly recommend flying away as quick as you can if you are unable to kill a Soldier or Leader. I also highly recommend sticking with a partner if you don't have enough air space. Stay away from groups and remember that you are the fastest vehicle on the playing field.

Oh, and if you get your 7 killstreak (Nucleon Shock Cannon) just give it to the nearest Soldier or Leader since they play better tank roles than Scouts and Scientists. There's many ways to use a Scientist and I'm sure others like NaitoKage and Beastbot have their own approach to the class.

P.S. - You'll get more kills and die less in the Conquest playlist.

I definitely can't wait. 5 new characters and 4 new maps is definitely worth the money. A much better deal than the Modern Warfare 2 DLC which was $15 a piece.
