Where were you as the new year ticked in?

I don't think anyone asked this yet, so here goes.. what were you doing when the new year/decade started?

We didn't go out celebrating. Instead we went to Red Lobster for a nice, intimate dinner. As the new year set in, we were curled up in bed together and watched the event on tv. Like so many others we shared a long kiss as the ball dropped.

I was at home cuddling with my cats, eating a piece of the awesome apple cake my mom made, watching the Three Stooges marathon on AMC. Watched the ball drop when it was time, and then turned the Stooges back on before going to bed about half an hour later. I know, it was so exciting! I prefer NOT to be on the roads around that time with all the people drinking, so I wasn't planning on going anywhere for any parties.

I made my last delivery at the stroke of midnight. Then I'm driving home from work, (I drive through Manhattan coming home from work and countless people are trying to flag me down to give them a ride). I was so tired last night because I had a long day. I believe the ball drops in Manhattan? I'm guessing those were the people who watched the ball drop. I heard there were around a million people? You could not believe how many people were walking through Manhattan! I'm starting to enjoy working in the city, there are countless great places to eat!!

At my friend's house watching anime on her computer. I noticed at 12:02 what time it was lol.

I was at home with my dad and some siblings, watching "Burn Notice". But we turned it off in time to see the ball drop.

I was in a freakin MANSION in Worcester! Huuuuge! Called my mum and friends at 9pm as it was New Year by then in Kuwait, ad she graciously stayed up til 3am to wish us a HNY too.

God, that place was amazing! And guess what! A lamb was born on New Year's Day! How cute is that? ^_^

I went to go see The Princess and The Frog. Then afterwards I spent the rest of the night babysitting a friend of mine's kid for her and played videogames with him.

Somewhat same here WW, I worked until 10, since my gas station is open 24/7 but I had to stay longer because we got busy, and than I eventually got out of there and got lost.

Cuddling with my spouse and a nice stiff drink for both of us, then we went outside when the neighbors started their fireworks and watched that. It was nice ushering in a fifth year with her.

Kisses on NY stroke of midnight is the BEST way to start a new years!

I was with my girlfriend and we were waiting for the New Years ball to drop. We counted down the seconds and had our kiss and then we went right back to playing the Wii that I got for Christmas! It's a lot of fun!
