BWint, I need your help! I was at school, in PE, more specifically, and I left my locker open for about 2 minutes. In that 2 minutes, somebody stole, not only my phone, but my Ipod nano. The theft happened about 5 hours ago, and I'm postive this thief is a girl. Not only because my phone disappeared in the girls locker room but because I'm fairly sure a guy at our school would simply hurl the phone and ipod into the pool. *pulls out hair* You cannot understand how COMPLETELY ticked I am. My mother has contacted the school and reported the crime, but I haven't cancelled service to my phone yet, so the person can text everyone in my phone book... Its an invasion of privacy.
So, I'm looking to anyone who might have any advice on how to catch this thief or on tactics of getting back my phone 'anonymously' please share.
Something like that happened to my sister once. Only her cell phone was stolen when she was at the pool with her friends. After that my Mom called the police and the the service provider for my sister's phone. So you might want to call your cell phone service provider to report to them that your phone was stolen, so that they cut off service to it, so who ever took it can't make any calls or send text in it. You could also try calling your cell's number to see if the thief is stupid enough to answer it.
Anyway, I hope you get what was stolen back, but the chances of that are slim. My sister got lucky in her case. Sometime after the police showed up at the pool, my sister's phone and other stolen phones were found in a bag in the ladies room.
Some phones are GPS enabled. If you know whether or not yours was, maybe they can track it... Let us know what happens either way *hugs*. Hopefully everything will work out!

Well it been 5 days since I last saw my phone and my beloved ipod. I've filed an offical police report, which i gotta admit was kinda cool, and pointed out some suspects (girls who are near my locker). The police officer was very helpful and promised to do as much as he could. My ipods serial number and my headphones are reported in stolen. But my phone, I don't know my serial number... but on the flip side, I was contacted from it and the person on the other end said he would return it to my school on Wednesday. My phone was found at mi pueblo on the other side of town, so i didn't want to go there (shady neighborhood...)
