Do you believe in ghosts?

Yeah, it's allowed. As long as it's not offensive, it's good!

As for why I voted no ... well ... if you're not here in the flesh, then you've got no right to be on this plane of existence, and able to interact with this plane of existence.

Angels and demons, however, yes. I feel that they exist. But they were never human in the first place, therefore, can't be ghosts. IMO.

Personally, my gut reaction is no, for reasoning similar to Sinead's - once one has passed on, they aren't on our level and can't interact or interfere. If they could, then I honesly believe there'd be some solid evidence for it.

I'm not 100% though, and am open minded, so if anything to possibly disprove me comes to light, then I'm not going to dismiss it without thinking about it.

I didn't believe until a few experiences that couldn't be explained as anything else ^^; Now I hunt the stuff xD

I was just gonna ask if any1 here knew of any locations in the US that's rumored 2 be haunted.

I am a Christain,and do not believe in ghosts. I believe that people can have weird experiences with demons,however,and that's definately NOT a good thing! All the more reason to stay away from "Ouja boards" and things like that,with "mystical" properties. They are tools of the Devil!

Sorry,I got a little carried away there.

It's just that I got somewhat freaked out when I saw an "Ouja Board" at a thrift store today.

^^; we get some kind of paranormal stuff all the time where we live. I dunno if its ghosts, demons, or angels but it something.

I love hearing about ghosts! I used to read the Ghost Stories books, and I think I may still have the Alberta version hidden away somewhere... Personally, I think it's awsome that you hunt them. What kind of places have you visited so far?

Razorclaw, those boards are like inviting the drunkards of the spirit world into your house. Yes, they are a bad idea. However, my oracle cards and pendulum would greatly disagree with regards to being called the tools of some nasty bad-aft anything. Being aware and respectful of objects of power is one thing, but seriously, they don't bite. You don't have to be afraid of them.

Dont believe in ghosts myself and voted accordingly, but they do make for entertaining stories and tend to be a fun fiction imho.

This is pretty much my thought too.

When I was younger, however, I did, but not now.

We went to Fort Fisher and took a few pictures during the day b4 we knew it was haunted. After reviewing the pics for the vacation albums on my myspace (and my mom's xD) I saw two different spirits in the pic. After I saw these pics I went to the actual webpage for Fort Fisher and found out that it's haunted by General Whiting. I posted the one pic that I was sure of on our site but I didn't post the other one in case it was a sun bleed instead of a spirit.

After that we went to a house not to far from where I live, the woman that haunts the place was ill willed towards everyone but we didn't find THAT out until AFTER we were there. I wish we had the recording we got in that place but the member that had it decided that this stuff was the real deal so she chickened out, she was the one with the recording. We were standing in the living room and had the recorder sitting on a table. It was really quiet then B heard a tap and whispered to me, "What's that? It came from the kitchen..." So we stood there for awhile then turned off the recorder and went into the kitchen before we went upstairs. After we left we listened to the recorderand we heard a loud hiss saying something about a floor, right before B said, "What's that?" xD It was pretty cool.

We're still investigating my new neighbors house. I only knew 2 people who ever lived there, Mr. Fretwell (who built the house) and Cathy with her husband Elwood and he had a massive heart attack in the house so I thought it would be him. The little girl there started talking to someone named 'Pop' when they moved in and all these weird things started happening so she called us. They didn't have power or anything at all in the house yet, no phone, no air or heat, no tv, no comp. She showed us the huge walk-in closet where most of the action is at during the night. So we sat in the huge closet (that was over 90 degrees, we almost died) and kept asking questions *THE ONE TIME WE DIDN'T HAVE OUR RECORDER* and I asked if it was Elwood for about 10 minutes and got no response. After a few minutes of being quiet I asked if it was Mr. Fretwell and the whole area we were sitting in dropped down to like...I think it said 65-70 degrees? It got real cold all of a sudden. After we went out I asked the little girl if 'Pop' wore glasses (Fretwell had glasses) and she nodded her head.

Every where we've went we've tried to recreate the stuff we had and we couldn't do it. xD It was pretty cool.

My b/f (who we've come to call Starscream) went with me up the stairs and pointed out the main bedroom but caught me right before I stepped in the huge whole in the floor *palmface* I got a good few pics in there.

I voted yes because of my own personal experiences, and those of others who have told some unexplanable stories.

Not to mention that Ghost Hunters has found some pretty awesome stuff.

Nah, ghosts can't be real. Once youre dead, youre dead, you go to heaven or to hell, and ya don't stick around.

....But like Razor said, ghosts (and haunted objects) are da best for a night round da flickerin flames o a campfire.

One time,to get some young ones to quiet down,I told them that Inferno's ghost lives in my closet.

They freaked out and got very quiet. All except this one who kept insisting that we go to my house that very moment. I've used the "Beast Wars character lives in my..." excuse several times for similar purposes.
