Cybertron during Beast Wars--who's in charge?

Hey, I've been doing some Transformers research but there's one thing that nobody seems to know. Who was in charge of Cybertron during Beast Wars? Judging from "The Agenda," it was Maximals who ruled. Does anyone know the name of the Maximal who was in charge? Just thought I'd ask, although it's likely that nobody knows.

I think it was a group of Maximals known as "The Maximal Elders", but don't quote me on that.

the only medium i know of that actually names and shows the maximal high council is in the 3H comics the members include.

* Magnaboss (top dog) combiner of ironhide, prowl and a second silverbolt. the maximal equivalent to tripedicus.
* Bantor. a fuzor
* Torca. a fuzor
* Air Hammer. a fuzor
* Cohrada. a character from beast wars neo
* Battle Unicorn. a character from beast machines.
"And now, Optimus Prime, in memory of the Decepticons... for the glory of the Predacons... for the Cybertron that is rightfully ours, and mine to rule! ... I unleash the storm of vengeance -- farewell!"

Thanks, everybody. You've been very helpful. I did look up the Maximal Elders and found that they were indeed mentioned on Beast Wars. I'll have to look up the Maximal High Council now.

actually it shows parts of the council and other folks in the IDW BW comics.

Apparently Leo Convoy (can't remember if they give him the Prime title or not) runs some sort of Maximal Intel. Big Convoy is somewhat big on at least a combined Maximal/Pred council. I can't remember the specifics as I don't have the comics with me at college. Check out tfwiki.net though. They probably have a full listing.


EDIT: in fact from the afforementioned site, I was wrong. According to the IDW comics the Maximal elders are the three members of Magnaboss, they are also called the Maximal Imperium. Additionally here's the link to a descriptor of the High Council:
