Where we talk about nothing other than that. :)

Tigerhawk question...

Unread post by 7Knight-Wolf »

I just re-watched season 3 of Beast Wars. When I watched "Other Victories" I wondered about Tigerhawk. The Vok created him with his own will, I'm assuming, with a spark. It's certian that they can create Transmetal II bodies, but can they create actual sparks? If not, where did Tigerhawk's original spark come from? (Not to be confused with Tigatron and Air Raizor's sparks which take over Tigerhawk's body at the end of the epsiode.)

(And another thought--the Vok live in a cloud-like thing in space...didn't the Swarm also form a moving cloud? More evidence of their ancestry, I guess.) Any ideas?

Mmmmnaaaah. Tigerhawk was created from the bodies of Tigatron and Air Razor fused together, having removed their sparks from their bodies already. There was no Tigerhawk spark, just two Vok heads using the body. Though he said, "I am Tigerhawk, emissary of the Vok," he was probably saying that to create some sort of familiarity with the people he was confronting...or destroying, whichever came first. Don't you remember, the two skull things popping out of TH before Tarantulas went kabloowee?

THEN Tigatron and Air Razor's sparks found Cheetor, merged together (for they were destined to be with one another always! Albeit in a very, very strange way  ) and led him to "Tigerhawk", whose body had been vacated in order to destroy Tarantulas, and therefore they/the spark could inhabit it and become...*drum roll* TIGERHAWK!

Make sense? :D

Yeah, it makes sense...I did remember the tow Vok heads, but I thought that just symbolized their power being removed from Tigerhawk. I didn't think the Aliens were actually LIVING inside the body--but it does make sense, I guess.

So, I wonder if the two Vok went "Kabloowee" along with Tarantulas? Your oppinion?

I don't think they would have been involved in Beast Machines since they're stuck on Prehistoric Earth. Wait, take that back--now that I think of it, the Vok can probably undo the time wormhole easily. Hmm... If they are descended from the Swarm, then it makes no sense how they could be on prehistoric earth unless they had been experimenting with time. Then, I wonder why they got so angry at Megatron for doing the same thing. :? Strange, the Vok seem to have mixed feelings, or esle they're just hypocrites.

We'll never know the Vok unless the big guys(IDW) will creat a Comic on them...that doens't seem like a bad idea.

That's cool.I'm trying to apply the Vok into Transtech, however,it will require tons of research, and a lot of creative thinking.

None of them did. Tarantulas was able to harness the power of the Vok and use it for his own twisted, psychopathic ends. (After the Maximals defeated Megatron and the Nemesis of course)

Ooh...that's an idea. In my story, Tarantulas' descendent AirSweep is friends with the Vok. But I haven't decided how she came to know them. Perhaps she came to know them because Tarantulas actually survived and harnessed their power? Mind if I borrow and manipulate that idea a bit? Just for a bit of Airsweep backstory in CCW?
