Okay...Dinobot And Blackarachnia Situation

Hey, I was just thinking. Dinobot and Blackarachnia, the two Beast Wars characters who debuted in Season 1 and fit the descripition of "Predacon Turned Maximal"(even if their turns were VERY far apart indeed)actually, believe it or not, share a lot in common and in fact are, in a way, brother and sister in terms of how their lives went and their robotic designs are.

How so, you ask?

For one thing, both are extremely tough and badass, not to mention having of many layers and different shades of grey to be explored about them, not to mention how they struggle with a lot of conflictions as Maximals after their defecting from the Predacons.

For another thing, both have incredibly sarcastic senses of humor and are very skilled with sweet weaponry(like Dinobot's eye lasers or BA's spider leg machine guns)not to mention how both are quite attractive. Dinobot is quite good looking and Blackarachnia is simply a ravishing babe.

Both have had exchanges with Rattrap and have shown hostile tempers toward other Maximals even while helping them. Granted, so has Depth Charge, but he's not a Predacon turned Maximal, so he doesn't count here

They have both played a part in defending humans(Dinobot with his unforgettable deed in COde of Hero and Blackarachnia with her deeds in Cutting Edge)Hilariously, the former in the same Code of Hero defended them from the latter, at that time her not being a Maximal yet.

Both have incredibly wierdly made voices. Dinobot sounds like he needs a gigantic throat lossange(even though his voice is cool and scary, it sounds like his throat is super hoarse)and Blackarachnia sounds like she has some serious nasal congestion, like she desperately has to blow her nose, like her sinuses are super stuffed up and she's got a wicked cold.

(Commences giving DB and BA each a nicely wrapped gift)

DB: Why, thank you, DM. It's quite honorable of you to respect me like this.

BA: AAWWWW, you shouldn't have. But I'm still going with Silverbolt even though I appreciate it. Sorry.

DM: You're welcome.

DB:(opens his gift)COUGH DROPS?!?!?!?!

BA:(opens her gift)PUFFS PLUS?!?!?!?!?!!?!

DM: I was thinking you needed them, you sure sound that way.

DB: I'm gonna kill that guy for such a insolent insult.

BA: Let's do it together.

(they both pummel me)

Anyway, I was just thinking...they do seem like counterparts, don't they, in this sense?(I threw in the last part just to be funny)

Yes they are similar and yes they could be capatable if BA wasn't into Chivalrous, braindead, knoble super hero, knight in shining armor types.


I read a fic where they were sort of paired up. This was before season 2 in the storyline so it made sense. I won't tell you how it ended up. You'll have to read it yourself but.... I will say... Dinobot and Blackarachnia should never be left alone in the same room ever again.. *shot*

Go to fanfiction.net go to search type chose fic by title, Type in a cause for celebration. you'll find at leats 7 storyies but it's in there. you just gotta look. Or I can just send it to you...

Oh I read that fic. I thought it was awesome. Of course I'll admit that I found the pair a little strange when I first read it, when I think about it, maybe it probably could have worked had the situation been different. Who knows?
